    New Character or Change Class?

I've been playing for a week and have progressed pretty far (or at least I think so). I'm thinking about dabbling into a martial based class. Either a maurader or archer.

Should I switch classes and keep my same guy or should I make a new character?

Are daily roulette tied to class or character? Ie if I have two characters I could get the bonus awarded twice for each thing? On the other hand I understand there is an exp bonus for playing a lower level class on the same character.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I would recommend keeping the same character. As you mentioned, your lower level classes do get an XP bonus.

While the roulette is per character, not per class, your guildhests are per character which is really a nice bonus in experience.

The main point though is that you'll open up cross-class skills you'll be able to use on other classes which can be really handy.

It really is up to you. At this point, there's little incentive to level 2 characters at once. You will receive double the roulettes, token caps, and lockouts (once you get that far) with 2 chars, but it is also double the time. I would first level a character up to endgame and capping out soldiery before making a second character. Making a character solely for the extra low level roulette just isn't worth it unless you're playing a tank so you get instant queues. There's relatively little cross-over between DoM and DoW (with PLD and BLM being the exceptions), so it shouldn't hurt you too badly to get one to 50 first.

I'd just keep one character. Each class is stand alone so your character is basically a bunch of characters on it's own. Why level another character when you can stick with your main and get all of the exp bonuses and what not?

Keep the same character. I have leveled 4 other classes over level 10 with the same guy.
