    Heya there!

Since MMOs mostly comes with repetitive action, if you get bored easily, this type of game might not be for you.

That being said, the game in itself comes forth at lvl 50 (sad but true) All things will unlock for you, provided that you can beat the content of course.

If you are part of an FC, being with them on the social aspect helps alleviate the boredom.. somewhat.

Seeing as you are 5 active members, I guess it's all old friends, so you shouldn't have problems with that.

Your FC is brand new, so the people in it. You will have to stick through it and get all to 50 (do the story, you can skip on the side quests, do all dungeons together)

Sometimes it could be good to join an Established FC (rank 8) that will lend you a hand to lvl up, clear contents, and socialize even more, new friends ftw! ^^

Wishing you the best of luck.

It isn't the fault of gamers for getting bored with MMORPGs when developers continue to copy a dated action RPG combat system instead of using the various evolutions of that system which can be found in other games. Case and point, Dragon Age 2.

There really isn't much I can suggest as to activities to fend off the boredom. Boredom has become a fact of life in MMORPGs, and the only reason anyone still remains to play these games is for the social aspects. One particular thing I do is try to gather different item sets to deck my character out in. You might also try to raise your chocobo while doing one of the many grinds available in the game.

The point I was making was only pertaining to some people with less tolerance than others about repetitive actions.

So yup, the fault biggest % goes to the game creators I agree with you.

The kill ten rats gets through me as well, don't worry

Copying: This one takes game aspect from so many others, it's crazy. (GW2 Dynamic Events as a good example - and yet, the same existed beforehand)

I've read they want to kinda redo the combat and skill system later on: can't wait for it!

In programming, you learn not to reinvent the wheel: Some likes to push it a bit too far though.

Even still, I managed over the first 7 month of ARR to get all my classes to 50 (now I see a Fate and I want to Eww..)

/* I am used to Korean-style MMOs, where getting from lvl 79 to 80, hittting the same mobs cause it's the one that gives the most XP for your time spent, over-and-over, killing him more than a thousand times.. when no one else do the same thing than you, else it's longer (Mob train ftw) with respawn rates a bit slow.. so Hell.. yeah. */

We tend to play games because of the fun factor (right?). If boredom kicks in, time to look about what you can do to alleviate it (start crafting or gathering if you never did any, socialize, take it a bit slower to complete your dailies), or look at the DEVs that seems to take the easy-way-out when it comes to Questing and Story most of the time.

I admit the first story line is ok. All things aside, beside Hildebrand, are meh, and just a cover as 'to do' when you grow tired of Fates.

Right now I am getting all the divine gear for Glamour purpose. Getting ready tonight for yukata's and that new Bomb dance ^^

Let's keep the fun flowing guys!
