Achievement Points: Give them a purpose

I believe you misunderstand some of the sentiment here.

Many of us contest that this should not be a form of currency, but a long long term form of fame within the game, such as, every thousand or so points would offer a minion or mount or glamour (also from the master of the rolls npc), something trivial sure, but representative of our commitment to complete many obscure challenges, just like the subscription reward represents our commitment to simply continue subbing.

Yeah, like if we got shiney gold tools when we'd done a lot of gathering or synthing, or if we got special barding for looking after other peoples chocobos, or if we got like, an Apkullu minion for completeing something, or if we got GC specific gear for some achievements, or if we got nice titles we could show off, or even maybe like a special mount for having lots of commendations. That'd be awesome!!!! I wish SE would implement this ; ;
