selling runs, making people artificially progress, then complain about people wanting nerfs. classic.
And then you invite them to rep a static member missing for the night and then proceed to boot them for doing 118 dps as a MNK against Rafflesia. Personal experience here.
I have no problem taking advantage of people's stupidity. I run a business in my real life and literally this is how business works. People are dumb, they see a product, they wanna buy it, regardless of whether or not it's worth it... they put money in your pocket and keep your business going. That's how the world works, buddy. If you don't/can't see that, then it's not my problem. Just think about all the things you've spent money on that were probably a waste yet you fell for it because the advertising looked good and you felt like you wanted it. It's not the seller's fault...
And yeah, I'm gonna complain about people wanting nerfs all day... because they're just being selfish and childish. If they really want to clear the content and absolutely can't do it, go buy a run from a pro please.
Actually no, because... we run a tight ship for progression and would never bring a MNK that cant put out 500dps in current BiS gear or at least 350 in 2.1 BiS gear. 400 or bust with glanzfaust. Ontop of that, if we really are missing members, that's what alts and friends and extra BiS geared accounts are for. I have a linkshell of somewhere around 110 people who have all cleared T9 and do weekly with no problems. Would never even think about taking a random into coil without putting them through some serious tests.

The average FFXIV couldn't clear Pharos Sirius, this says a lot about the average players skill.
Also, imo, SE rely on one shot mechanic a bit too much in coil 2 as well and unless you are way over gear, one person die at the wrong time usually meant wipe most of the time.
It's called punishing you for too many mistakes. Yes, people make mistakes. But what most people don't do is truly try to minimize the amount they make.
I've been derelict on end game content after returning for the new patch because the rest of my team hasn't cleared T5 yet. I think the second 2.2 hit most of them took a hiatus and went to play SWTOR or Wildstar instead of bothering with it. I'd love to pug t6, but patch 2.3 groups generally look for experienced people. I haven't seen any other groups and my attempts at making ones have left me sitting there for two+ hours on end doing nothing. End game here feels pretty dead to be honest.
Curiously though, every time I do a farm for Leviathan, I'm always getting new people even though I specify experienced individuals only. I'm quite friendly to new players, but its making what should be an easy primal into something with a ridiculous attrition rate.
So... inaccessible end game is inaccessible.

Actually I can't think of one turn of regular coil that can't be done with one death(even without the best gear, etc). Most T9 kill videos have one or more deaths in it. My first T8 kill was a complete mess. One death and towers being pushed too fast or early because of people being derpfaces. If anything I'd say that coil 2 is pretty darn forgiving.

In fairness you deserve to be kicked for only being able to do half the norm that someone in i90 gear could do.
