1. MT and DPS should change camera view to 45* birds eye angle (this way u won't target other bulbs when tabbing)
2. MT target mid bulb as #1 and spam macro
3. DPS tab and burst
4. ????
5. Profit!

Haha yeah happened to me a lot the first times we did T6.
*bulb pops*
*tabs and start bursting*
“Necato DPS the bulb !”
“I am DPSing the bulb !”
“Not this one, the one in middle !”
“oh… right”
Yea make sure you got the right one when tabbingif not just tab again.
Pew Pew, bulb spawns.
"MIDDLE! "
"MIDDLE!"
"MIDDLE!"
"GET THE ONE IN THE MIDDLE!"
"Now, KILL THE BEE!"
On controller you can press L1/R1 to tab target.

Only problem with Flare is you're not always going to have SC+Flare available when Bulb spawns in middle. You're also not always going to be in Astral Fire when Bulb spawns. If you're in Umbral Ice, a swiftcast Flare is going to be useless.
I'm going to assume you mean Convert when you say "CD" there since you refer to double flare, that'll be available even less often than simply SC+Flare.
As for tab targeting, just make sure you pay attention to what bulb it tabs to as sometimes it decides to be a pain and tab to the wrong bulb, but yes, tab targeting is the best option.

once you get used to the fight it's really easy to see the middle bulb.
at first it seems like you can't see it but when you pay attention to the "bulbs falling on the ground" animation you will easily see it, keep on truckin!
Our group actually tanks the boss slightly to the right and up from the center bulb so we can target it more quickly.
If you read my post that you quoted, you would see I mentioned to "save" SwiftCast and/or a CD (Cool Down, i.e. Convert or Mega-Ether Pot), if the middle bulbs are that much of an issue, i.e. the dps being poor on the middle bulb.
Hence SC would be available, Bulbs do not spawn randomly, so you have a fair idea of when you may need SC for a middle bulb.
I did not tell anyone to SC Flare during UI3, you have plenty of time to get back into AF3 and use Flare or even double Flare.
You have 2 ways of performing double Flare, Convert is one, the other is by using a Mega Ether.
I've been killing T6 since about a week after 2.3, I don't recall ever seeing 3 middle bulbs within 3 mins of each other.
Nor have I ever needed to double Flare a middle bulb, but as I said if could be very useful if the other DPS in your group are not pulling their weight.
Having read some of the posts you made in the BLM rotations thread, you should perhaps try the above yourself.

if you don't use tab, try this: hit ESC to cancel your current target, move yourself near the bulb and then hit CONFIRM.... see if it works for you.
