Okay, so obviously we've got a lot of people upset about The Hunt system. As far as I'm concerned, the major driving factor is the high-end rewards that anyone can just jump in on without any real effort.
While I will not be address the effort side of things with this idea/suggestion, I would rather focus on the rewards of The Hunt itself, for both the Elite Marks and the items you obtain with the Allied Seals and the Blood-Spattered Mark Logs.
I'm going to start with the Elite Marks and each of their ranks. Currently, we have the following for rewards:
Code:
Rank B: 5 Allied Seals, 30 Myth Tomes, 5 Soldiery Tomes, extremely rare chance at Mark Log.
Rank A: 20 Allied Seals, 80 Myth Tomes, 20 Soldiery Tomes, rare chance at Mark Log.
Rank S: 50 Allied Seals, 200 Myth Tomes, 40 Soldiery Tomes, uncommon chance at Mark Log.
As is, the rewards from The Hunt and its Elite Marks are far too inviting and is currently draining from Dungeons, Raids, and other methods of obtaining Myth and Soldiery Tomes. Reeling the amount of the tomes obtained will, hopefully, impact it enough to have players doing Dungeons and Raids more often, repopulating and spreading the game out more, making it more diverse and less focused on just a single piece of easily overpowering content.
As such, this is what I feel would be better:
Code:
Rank B: 5 Allied Seals, 15 Myth Tomes. No Soldiery Tomes, No Chance at Mark Log.
Rank A: 20 Allied Seals, 40 Myth Tomes, 10 Soldiery Tomes, extremely rare chance at Mark Log.
Rank S: 50 Allied Seals, 120 Myth Tomes, 25 Soldiery Tomes, rare chance at Mark Log (Only one, as I've heard reports of getting multiple from Rank S's).
I've left the amount of Allied Seals alone, because this is the only content that gives Allied Seals in the first place, and therefore should not be lowered. Unless at such time another piece of content comes out to allow for Allied Seals, they should remain the same.
The reason I have made S-Ranks still give good-ish rewards is their long respawn timer and the fact they require players to do something to have them spawn.

Now, onto the Allied Seals, or more specifically the items you obtain with them, and the Blood-Splattered Mark Logs.
First, no cap for Allied Seals in a week. This is dense as they are used to purchase GC weapons and armour for glamouring and use, of which are overpriced for what they are. Alexandrite, Ventures, Aetheryte Tickets, some minions, some furnishings, and the extremely expensive GC Seal-wise Reagan Pepper. Also, the fabled Mark Log. I will address costs later. Therefore, if a player so wishes, they should be allowed to collect as many Allied Seals as they see fit.
Second, the Mark Logs. Right now, these are only used to obtain Sands of Time and Oil of Time, in unlimited amounts. Rather than lock the amount of Mark Logs, since they may be used in future content, I would rather lock the purchase of the Sands of Time and Oil of Time to once a week. Yes, just once a week.
Why? Simple. This prevents players that don't wish to participate in SCoB (and its Savage equivalent) to slowly obtain a Sands of Time or Oil of Time to upgrade their gear. Furthermore, if they so wish to obtain more a week, they can go ahead and participate in SCoB to get more. As such, it brings players back to SCoB, and therefore gives skillful play the reward of getting more of these rare items in a week.
As for a reason, the vendors can argue the Sands of Time and Oil of Time are difficult and rare to obtain, and would rather spread it to more adventurers, therefore benefiting more, than allow a few to collect up many.
Alright, with those out of the way, the items of which the seals can purchase. Let's start with GC items.
These items are interesting gear, to say the least, but for the most part no one will be using them for anything more than glamouring onto their current gear. At present, their costs are far too high, I feel. I think dropping the prices of all of them would make them more worthwhile to obtain for glamouring, rather than having players shoot directly for the Others tab.
Code:
Weapons: Currently 1740, should be 850.
Helm, Gloves, Boots: Currently 600, should be 275.
Chest, Legs: Currently 1000, should be 475
For the Others tab:
Code:
Alexandrite: Currently 200, should remain 200.
Blood-Spattered Mark Logs: currently 250, should remain 250.
Ventures (5): Currently 10, should be 25.
Aetheryte Ticket (3): Currently 15, should remain 15.
Riviera Striking Dummy: Currently 180, should remain 180.
Ultima Weapon Miniature: Currently 80, should remain 80.
Treasure Box (Minion): Currently 440, should remain 440. (Since it's a one-time purchase)
Wind-up Succubus (Minion): Currently 500, should be 440. (Since it's a one-time purchase, and it doesn't make sense to make it more than the other minion)
Reagon Pepper: Currently 20, should be 250. (Due to the large cost for them against GC Seals)
Since we have an alright selection of items, limiting the Allied Seals to a weekly cap would annoy those working towards gear and things like Alexandrite and Ventures. Obviously, the Mark Logs and Alexandrite are a large draw, but as I've mentioned above, limiting the Sands of Time and Oil of Time purchases to one of each a week helps spread out the placement of your Allied Seals, while keeping The Hunt still appealing.
Now, for the DoW and DoM i90 Myth gear. This is so horrendously underpriced it is a bloody joke. As follows:
Code:
Helm, Gloves, Boots: 30
Chest, Legs: 40
Belt, Accessories: 20
With consideration to the fact you will still be obtaining Myth Tomes, prices should be closer to the following:
Code:
Helm, Gloves, Boots: 160 Allied Seals.
Chest, Legs: 225 Allied Seals.
Belt, Accessories: 100 Allied Seals.
Hopefully, with these changes, it will spread players into Dungeons to obtain Myth Tomes as well as The Hunt for Allied Seals to speed up the process of gathering i90 Myth gear, without being ridiculously easy to just do The Hunt and pick up 290 seals for a full i90 Myth set, as opposed to 5010 Myth tomes required to do the same.

I apologize in advance, my changes do not do anything for The Hunt in terms of the Elite Marks and their behavior, and players behavior regarding the Elite Marks (early pulls, too many players that result in lessened rewards for all, etc).
I also realize that my opinion on The Hunt is my own, and many of you will have your own that run against mine. You are welcome to your opinion and may state your opinion, and I will not see any less of you for it, but if you are open to discussion, then so am I in regards to The Hunt.
Hopefully these changes are appealing to the masses, and I hope that perhaps even those at SE will take a look at this, but I do not expect these to occur, and therefore would not be put off otherwise.
Thank you for taking some time to read this ridiculously long post.
