how to target the focused target with controller(on pc)

hi sorry if this has been posted before but i cant seem to find an answer. i play on the pc with a controller, and i already know how to set the focus target through the menu. is there a button i can push (or set through configuration) to put me on the focused target with the controller? right now i have just been hitting f10 on the keyboard but i'd like to be able to do it all on the controller if possible. thanks^^

I play on controller also, and what I did was make a macro for it.
/focustarget <t>

The only thing I don't like about this is how unlike F10 or setting markers on targets, pressing again won't clear it off. It would be nice if SE eventually put Focus Target in the action list the way they have with so many other basic commands like jump, sprint, target forward, target back, etc.

Nope Sorry, there is not Macro is the only way to put it as a "One Click" on ur Controller.

I dont get why 2 extra pushes that can be done way faster than taking your hand off the controller to press F10 isn't enough (muscle memory yo). It's not like you're doing qcf>hcb+3 simultaneous button press or performing some kind of fatality to focus target.

If you're using a PS4 controller and NOT using some kind of xinput emulator (using xiv config edit to set your PS4 calibrations for arr instead), your touchpad and PS button will be unused. You can use xpadder to map those buttons with ingame macros.

-make the macros
-put it on an unused hotbar
-set their keybinds
-set up xpadder so that whenever you press the touch pad or ps button the keybinds above are being pressed
-hide hotbar

I personally use my touchpad for /facetarget for my blm, my PS button as /levelsync on, my L1+PS button as my steam screenshot (I prefer it over the game's built in). I could add more with triggers but I haven't thought up more that I want to use.

My mistake. Regardless, havent seen any fight that really needs it. L1 and dpad up/down works just fine for me. Even when tanking in moogle ex or whatever. The xpadder method I mentioned should still work anyway.
