    Hmm a new day, so here is the new post from the anti-hunt vocal minority...

    Maybe SE should bring the rest of the game up to where the hunts are regarding rewards. Would be nice if people stopped thinking that their 'preferred content' is the only content that matters...

    The reason the hunts trump all is that:
    If your on the animus quest you have to choose 30 full dungeons (now that they broke Bray SR so you cant leave as a premade group) or farm in the hunt for about 3 hours.
    You can do 10 dungeons to cap seals, or 2 hours in the hunt
    One oil with up to 23 other people rolling against you in the tower
    2 oils/sands with up to 7 other people rolling against you from coil, per week.
    Alexandrite: 1 map per day expert roulette, and another per 800 myth at 16 dungeons versus buying straight out with 200 seals, and another 2 or 3 maps for the myth you got.

    I would rather prepay my subscription for a year then have SE feel they need to slow mode everything to milk the fee...

    Bottom line is the most players don't want to do the same dungeon / tower that many times, for such low payout.

    I don't prefer dungeons over hunts, or hunts over dungeons. What I do prefer is a balanced game. I don't care if the nerf hunt rewards into the dirt or rocket dungeon rewards to match hunts. Just balance the damn content.

    It doesn't make sense that defeating a turn 1-5 coil boss (which is significantly more difficult than any hunt mob) gets you less reward than a hunt.
    It doesn't make sense that clearing a complete expert mode dungeon rewards you less than a single hunt mark.
    It doesn't make sense that completing a 24 man raid has a lock out on an item that is unlimited from hunts
    it doesn't make sense that turns 6-9 still have a lock out for at least another 2 months but hunts can be farmed for same rewards.

    IT JUST IS PLAIN IMBALNCED AGAINST THE REST OF THE GAME!

    Turns 1-5 are a joke, and die just as easily. the flaw with your statement is that you are overlooking the time spent searching the entire zone, organizing the group, maintaining a focus on the target (especially on S ranks) and ect.

    Now I am not saying it is brain surgery, but it is a little more time and effort then just the 10 seconds of fighting people use as the benchmark. Comparing that to a fight where everyone is over geared for predictable mechanics and a 20% boost... neither are really all that different.

    I actually agree with your second, but until SE adds I110 gear to Ampador City and the rest of them, those rewards are a joke to all other content. i80 glamour gear is a waste no matter what anyone says.

    The fact that we pay for content that they lock out is another sad point. It kills itself as content goes. How many times do people go into the tower when they already got their weekly drop? not even to mention the incompetence level in some of those runs... I think oils & sands should drop without a lockout. You spend the hour or so in there, you get something you want. Once it is on weekly lockout, whats the point?

    When the first coil / Myth sets came out, you could get the same ilevel gear. For whatever stupid idea, they separated it so Soldiery gear needs even more work. Top it off with the fact that not all coil gear is BIS, just proves its stupidity. Remember you already had to deal with the weekly lockouts on soldiery to get the weathered, so all the hunts do is BALANCE them to the coil drops like they were in 2.0.

    People have some utopian idea of what balance is, when in reality all it means is that everything sucks evenly. Hunts with their drop and seal rate is balanced perfectly for when they open the second coil to farm status.

    I think the idea was came from "listening to some players" who only play one day a week... ^^;
