Hunts are fun and rewarding. I just wish that had more to buy like more clothes and. I thnk they made it so the high gear is easier and accessible to people to get. I just sands of time for the YAGRUSH!!! And people have a choice with the hunts: Be loving(wait for others) or be selfish(keep the target ur self, start early, etc).
Yes it's a great event if you can actually do it and get credit, and the mobs don't die within seconds of being pulled. If people in your servers are organized, and hunt groups actually wait for a couple minutes till (most) players arrive at the spot, then it can be a rewarding activities. As it is now, it's a complete chaos, everyman woman for themselves, zerg zerg zerg, kill ASAP and go to the next one. It's almost impossible to do hunts during prime time. Hunts need to be adjusted ASAP before it gets out of control.
People complain about this?
Hey i remember people wan't HNM in this game. Well this is sorta same thing but the reward might be not same as in xi,
But it is very similar hunt 1hour+ or 72h monster![]()
The XI HNM system was balanced within the rest of the game. Great rewards came from the 23-24 hour spawn HNM. Lesser rewards came from the 3-4 hour spawn NM. only 1 alliance/party/player was able to claim the reward not 100+ people. Rewards were specific to the target as well, hunting HNM or NM in XI didn't devalue other content.
XIV hunts is more like rewarding anyone in XI who happened to get a hit on Valk. Emperor with a piece of dynamis gear.
What is the point of doing dynamis when you get just tag Valk Emp. every 3-4 hours for the same results?
The point is we need FFXI claim system as bored peeps like me would LOVE to see a more MASSIVE SHITSTORM on the mapchat and have a good laugh all day long! The XI HNM system was balanced within the rest of the game. Hunts killed ramuh ex and anything thts ilvl 100/110.
R.i.p new content that falls into those ilvls.
I saw ppl said hunting is handing out gear with no effort then I saw ppl said it is very hard to get reward in hunting.
If both true, then I think the dificulty of hunting is getting reward?
If I were SE, why fix it? Increase marks' HP = lower the difficulty, and ppl is complaining it is too easy?! ^^;;
I don't find hunt unfair unless you are on a personal race for upgrade and you are losing.
I'm in no race or competition. People shout position, I ask for party, I run to the place and after a few we kill the monster, everybody thanks everybody, we disband and some people moan and rage because they are too slow (even slower than me, how is that possible ?).
If I'm too late, I'll just think "That's just 5 seals I didn't get".
If 100+ players are teleporting to same Area it will need time to load the Area - its same as the Atomos fight in 1.x (SE should have known the outcome)
If you are in Area when someone shouts, you mostly catch it in time.
Because stupid timer and RNG players in a Group spread out to different Areas and search for Monsters.
You can not Camp Monsters and thats the problem with raging because they put some effort to find it.
