I think they should add more soon. Like ones for getting classes to level 50. For beating certain rank hunts. Maybe for completing EX Primal and Coil Turns. Maps are easy but completing 500 could be one.

Many more too can be added. Those were just some current thoughts

I doubt we'll see more until the expansion pack. After all, I'd be pissed if they took away my platinum trophy now because they added more. I think it'll be like DLC trophies for other games, where they're separated into they're own entity.

SE can't just add Trophies whenever they want to. Sony's policies on content submission won't allow it without a substantial add-on made to the game, like the upcoming expansion. You see this in a lot of shooters with the Map Packs.
There will undoubtedly be trophies added at that time, but the number and value of them also vary based on Sony's labeling of the content (on documentation, games are labeled as Large Scale, Small Scale, and ineligible which at the time was reserved for Minis). Due to the nature of it being an expansion, which is essentially a DLC package, Sony has probably identified the content as Small Scale, since Large Scales require a Platinum trophy be added. It's been a while since I've had to review those documents so this may have changed but I doubt it.
There are times where small scale games have a lot of trophies, but that's due to developers splitting the value of the trophies over a large space making each one worth less on the network.
Hope this helps shed some light on this kind of stuff.
And don't worry, Odd. Games can't revert Platinum requirements. Those are linked to the original trophy set. You can use Uncharted 2 for an example. That game has several additional DLC trophies added to it, but none of them are required for the Platinum even though the description still reads "every trophy." I never bothered with the DLC and still unlocked it after they were released.
