Valintine, from a modeling perspective I think her poses were far more striking.

There was a boldness & allure with her photos that far exceeded Rina's imo.

Round 1: Valintine - I actually like the zoomed in, moonlit allure of this pic. Hate the necklace with the swimsuit though. I like Rina's background, but I think it's her expression that kills it for me.

Round 2: Rina - I feel like Valintine took the same shot twice. I like the background and shadows more in Rina's pic.

Round 3: Rina - I liked Valintine's background, but hated her glamour, pose, and almost creepy stare - they were all really awkward looking. Love Rina's background - also what my eyes are drawn to are her legs and feet, like she's walking through the forest barefoot.

Round 4: Rina - Liked Valintine's serious military salute and relaxing nautical outfit, but wished there were more Limsa banners and pride in it. Also wish it wasn't a starry night again for Valintine. Love Rina's cheerleader pose - she brings the shot to life even though it's a cloudy night.

Round 5/6: Rina - Valintine in sitting pose with the blue robe again. Also her arm through her robe and stare drove me crazy. The Opo's are the best part of this pic. Valintine is just...there. I liked that Rina chose something different -morning sky (or sunset), and actually looks like she belongs on that ship with her Opo.

Round 7: Rina - Rina's pic this round is one of my favorites. Love the colors, expression, and pose. It also has more jagged but purty crystal-business going on.

Round 8: Valintine - Bad ass pose and she looks like she's gonna order a beheading. I like the background better.

Round 9: Valintine - I liked them both, but the golem mechanic, pose, and colors/effects in Valintine's were better.

Final Round: Valintine - Valintine surely seizes the power of the final round in this bad ass pic. I saw Rina's pic and was like, what happened????

Wasn't going to bother to vote until I scrolled through all of Valintine's portfolio. It's pretty epic. I adore the last picture.

So my vote goes to Valintine.

I vote for Valintine because she has more shots from dynamic angles/poses that make the pictures seem more interesting, as well has having bold and vibrant colors. I pretty much like every single picture in Valintine's portfolio except for one. Rina has some nice shots too, but I like more of Valintine's images.

It's clear from the majority of the posts already that Val is going to be the winner. Thus far, out of all of the votes, only two of them have been for Rina. I don't mean to undermine or insult Rina by saying this, but it would be best to move on and declare the winner rather than tally more votes on a disproportionate level.

Ok, so I finally got ahold of Rongi. He won't be home til tomorrow, so he can't fix the Frozen shoot pic in my portfolio. But he told me to post it here. So meh, here it is.

I think Rina had an excellent screenshot in Makeover, which is one of the better screenshots of the whole competition, as well as a stronger showing than Valintine in the remaining categories of Bikini, Stars, and Forest. However, my vote goes for Valintine for the themes of Nation Pride, Minions, Ice Queen, and Battle because I think they do a better job at capturing the idea for each category. Which leaves the Freeform section.

Ultimately, I think Valintine's submission for Freeform is hands down one of the coolest character action screenshots I've seen of this game period, which is what finally swings the vote over in her direction for me, leaving Valintine with 5 and Rina with 4. I'd say that's fairly close!

Thanks to all who participated in this contest! It was a fun distraction from the usual forum content and it's pretty cool to see what ideas people have when presented with a theme to take screenshots around.
