Loving the gathering changes made, and happy the direction it is going in.
However, since the update it is now almost impossible to complete the two Botany leves at Treespeak. The one that requires you to find three logging spots always seems to send you smack in the middle of the swarm of Wild Hogs in the bottom right corner. I tried and tried many times to run them out the way, return then run back, only to find they had moved back in front of the tree again.
The clock ran down to 0, and I failed the leve. All gear (including my tool) were 0% condition by the time I was done.
Then I proceeded to the next leve, where I had to find three of one item, and the first tree was right in the middle of a horde of Ixali just to the right of Haughtpox's Western spawn point. There was an absolute swarm of Ixali there; I counted nine, and couldn't proceed past their (rather awesome looking) blimp to see how many more there were.
The tree was beyond them, in a little cul-de-sac, with no path beyond to run the Ixali out the way. Aggroing them and double backing did not work either, as they just walked back to where they were, in the way again.
It took nearly 15 minutes of constantly trying to time to run past until I eventually managed to get to this tree and log it in peace.
Whilst I appreciate an element of danger is needed on the very rewarding leves, I feel this isn't overly fair to Botanists. If Botany is my main, how am I supposed to kill these to get them out of my way? How would a party of Botanists manage it, even? We can't stone them to death, pretty sure we'd die first...
Having monsters in the middle of levequest targets is fine dandy for DoW & DoM, but make the levequests ridiculously frustrating and time consuming (and in the case of the first, impossible) for gatherers. I am not a Miner so I can't comment on their leves, but reading these forums it is obviously a problem for them as well!
