I finished the Lightning event back when it first came out and I honestly don't care if they bring it back again as I don't need an exclusive armor set or hair style just to feel special. I am however concerned about those poor souls still working on their ATMA and whether or not the Lightning FATES will interfere with them.

I mean I can empathize for the ones that missed it the other 2 times, but honestly ask yourself, where does it end? You can imagine another year passes and someone new says "Hey I missed out on Lightning Returns! Can I have it come back?"

It's not that I wouldn't want you to, but a 3rd time it has officially cheapened it because the 3rd time seems so irrelevant now.

I got all of the items from this event, but hey. They're bringing it back as part of the One Year Anniversary festivities. Who am I to complain?

I just hope SE adds something different in the events they bring back for the players who done it the first time like add a minion that's modeled after one of the characters in ffxiii or something so that both old and new can enjoy said content.

I don't understand why are you people so upset about this. No one is forcing you to do the event. They're just letting the new people have a chance at it.

it is more to the fact in a lot of games anything labeled as a "special one time event" as a PROMOTION for a game that was about to be released world wide, starts to loose its meaning when they bring it back twice after the game has been out for a long time. another reason people are upset is they make it seem as a massive deal however to people who have done it there is no reason for it. where as most MMO's that bring back an event add in a few new things so people who have already done it originally can grab new stuff.

its basically saying something is a promotional event for a game that isn't released loses itself when it is released twice willy-nilly without anything new for those who have already done it
