Fellow Verizon FiOS users, for those of you who don't feel paying money for a third-party VPN is an acceptable solution, please perform the following steps:
1) Find your server on http://www.arrstatus.com/
2) Perform a trace route (ex: Windows command "tracert 199.91.189.38")
3) Open a trouble ticket with Verizon FiOS.
4) Provide the IP chain from the route. Insist it be escalated to the network team.
5) Tell your friends who use FiOS.

This is the ONLY way we will see a resolution. Dealing with it by either avoiding the laggy times, or using a vpn will continue to allow subpar service for all FiOS users. Massive complaints about the issue will drive action.
