Sphere Scrolls for every item [Yes, please!]

I love the way the Novus is upgraded with individuel stats, I'd love to have this option for other items too. The "secondary stat politicy" is bad in so many situations. A monk holding back in DPS because he has to much skill speed, a DPS putting his new high allagan piece into the chest because he's missing acc (just to state two) is really frustrating

Please give us the possibility to individualize our gear to match our play style by adding sphere scrolls for every item to replace secondary stats.
If you do so, please give us more ways to obtain alexandrite. Getting the Materia for all out pieces would be hard enough.


What do you think about this? Where do you have problems with your secondary stats?

Err lol. It would put more stress on the need for materia. It's a good idea, but, it would be totally out of balance as the price of materia would sky rocket. Besides you would totally take the unique part out of Novus and throw it on everything else therefore making the relic weapon less valuable.

We don't make the weapons we plunder, they are crafted by someone/something else. However we do craft our relic weapon with our own hands and it makes sense for us to be able to personalize it to our likeness. Be happy we can do this much to a weapon..

To be frank, after completing one Novus I don't ever want to do that again unless all materia is free and abundant.

75 alexandrites for each item that will be useless in 2 months... Lulz !

I didnt mean to collect 75 alex for every piece of equipment. More like replacing the original stats. The high allagan coat of healing has 51 secondary stats (acc not count), so the scroll will give u 51 stats.

Also i dont think that it will take the unique part out of novus. The sphere scroll is just one step in the evolution of your relic weapon, and for sure not that last one. So why use this nice feature for only one item.

The materia is an issue for sure. but noone force you u rebuilt all your pieces. It just gives you a workarround if you struggle with acc, mp or whatever.

I definitely think there should be a set of armor for each Job/Class that allows this kind of customization (Maybe AF3+ gear?), but I don't think it should happen for every piece of gear in the game.

I can just see the hardcore players complaining that BiS can be attained without coil. I like that BiS comes from many different means. This would just make BiS all come from grind grind grind

Only because its stupid that a tier IV materia only give one point skill increase. If the materia gave face value to the required stat then that would be a different story.

ex. 4 battledance IV + 2 battledance II = 44 parry (only requires 6 alexaderite)

Watching a dear one break 800k of materia on a 80% chance (4 breaks) was stressful and so far from fun.
