we will agree to disagree...simply because you only see the usefulness of the tool, which I said is not that useful as we have everything in-game to do that, even if not perfect, and you refuse to see the abuse of the tool which by far overcome the usefulness simply because that tool in the hands of game-addicts, end-content addicts,e-peen complex affected and the like, is not used as it should.....and why is forbidden on top of using info that shouldnt be of public use (so to speak). Aslo, who gives you the right to point fingers towards someone that may not want everyone to know he has that poor of a DPS or maybe he knows it without your intervention ? see? you arrogate yoruself a right that is not yours to have, unless asked for it. The use of parsers infringe the privacy rights that everybody is entitled to and when you need to go and dig info outside of what you see on teh screen you do infringe that limit....(i exagerate a little but yeah is not that far of I think)

I am glad for one that such use will be sanctioned...people that want to use it by all means do it but if you are caught well dont complain ...

In the same vein you seem to only see the negatives. I wonder how many people do you know that use parsers and you have no idea. They've never once gloated, desparaged, or done anything with that knowledge other than self improvement. Then you come here and talk about all the negatives while not having any idea how many people aren't affecting you despite using those tools.

You're making broad assumptions. You're glass is half full and contains only negatives. Then you seem to think that if people do it its ok unless they get caught which treats ps3/ps4 users like second class citizens since they don't have access to such tools.

TLDR. Acting like only bad things come of these tools is just as ignorant as thinking nothing but bad comes from them. The reality is somewhere in between.

Well then the question is once you learned maximum output by using a parser and get your rotations down why would you need to keep using it on the next boss and so on if it didn't give you any extra advantage with damage calculations?

Because it does add extra advantages. Dummies are static with no movement or damage you must avoid so in the end you only learn what your maximum potential is. They don't include phases where the monster jumps around the map making him impossible to hit for a time. Knowing how well you've applied your maximum potential against any given fight is an entirely different matter and that's where parsers are helpful. Feeling like you did well and knowing you did well on a certain phase are 2 very different things. I can feel like I did a good job but then when I see the numbers I realize I did terrible and there is a lot of room to improve.
