Should I Grind Dungeons from 45-50?

Should I grind dungeons such as Stone Vigil and Darkhold till level 50?
I am a level 45 Lancer/Dragoon who has a hell load of time on his hands. I an spend 9 hours a day on this game for the next few weeks. I would like to get Dragoon to 50, aand Marauder up there (around 35-50) in the next 2-3 weeks. Should I grind Dungeons, Fates, Levequests?
    Just looking for suggestions...

You can speedrun the Darkhold and get around 50k exp every 5 minutes.

You need a tank willing to grab all mobs before 1st boss, and then everyone AoE spam them. Exit after you are done and repeat.

After you and your buddies are lv47 you can farm the 1st room of Aurum Vale for around 60k exp in around 5 min too. Exit after you are done and repeat.

Also always do the Low level roulette, its always a lot of exp you are gonna get, usually half the exp needed for a level up or even more.

If you don't get burnt out then do dungeons, the highest you can because the xp per monster gets you leveled so much faster. To make it even quicker grind fates and leves while in queue since you are dps and times are usually longer. A lot of times I see first room runs in party finder which will get you the most xp per time spent

Yes and yes. 9 hours a day for the next few weeks? If you can withstand the burn you should have DRG and MRD finished to fiddy. Get your roulettes done first, big xp bous, register for the two highest duties you can run. While you wait, do hunting logs, Leve's, Quests, etc. You will get there fast.

    GL to you!

don't forget your resting bonus when you log out. Make sure you're either in an inn or on your FC home property. Don't just log out in a random place. Synestr gave all the right answers. Roulettes tend to give the biggest bonuses, so do them first. I have two level 50 classes and one 49. I save my Leve's for mining and botany, but I definitely run fates. I recommend not running those you have to level set for, except "It's Not Lupus" in Costa del Sol. That's a tough one with good rewards. Obviously, the three dragon filled fates in Coerthas that end with Svara (sp?) are the most profitable. You get between 40 and 50k XP depending on your resting bonus. The fate "Eyes" is a good one, but that's tough. You see tons of wipes and resets with it, because he uses 100 ton swing or something like that. It kills every human and chocobo in its path. Without a party that has a tank that knows what he's doing, that one is a nightmare. The adds, the swings, and some hot-dog tank or bard that kites the cyclops around usually makes this one a pass for me. I can get more from Belly and Saints because they pop more often and I can solo them. Join a party and drink/eat xp bonus stuff. Don't worry about your iLVL for fates, you can wear that stupid looking level 1 hat that increases your xp so long as the rest of your gear protects you. In a party, you share XP, so if the tank has aggro, you can increase your xp like that. Good luck.

I do my Low/Heste DR each day and then do Dzemael for xp; the vale is a pain so not worth it. Then, i save my rank 3-5 hunting log for when i hit 48 and do those to get me mostly to 50. Then another dzemael if necessary or a leve/fate if I'm really close. Make sure to get your challenge log stuff each week, too. Don't accidentially finish it on another job.

To clarify real quick, the resting bonus to exp is available anywhere there is an aetheryte crystal (all cities, towns, any housing areas). You will see a moon shaped symbol next to your exp bar if you are in one of those areas. ^^

Dzemael Darkhold 1st room XP runs are definitely the way to go from 44-50.

An average group can do these in ~4 minutes, a good group can do 3, and an excellent group can get sub-2:30.
2:30 for 50k xp, yes please!

My record so far is 2:26.

Hi, the dungeons not only are good for leveling, especially with the roulette bonus, but also the best place to learn your class. (Edit: forums are a great place to learn your class too. There are guides too, some threads lead to them.) You also get useful gear until you get to level 50. As Synestr said, do your roulettes daily, they have a lot of bonus exp (including guildhest). There are a lot of things to do, so rather than grinding the same thing I'd prefer to do a variety of things. You can do FATEs or levequests while you queue too. Or level up a crafter during the queue times. Each one is different, I'd rather have more fun at the cost of leveling a bit slower. You are leveling two classes, so you at least have a variety there. Good luck and have fun!

Vale's first room is definitely worth it. Depending on your level and whether or not you have XP buffs on, the first room can give you at least 25% XP if you clear it out completely. If you find a grinding party who focuses on that room, it's possible to get from 47 to 50 in under 3 hours.
