Obligatory Hyperion Thread

I will be attending the Vegas Fan Fest, along with a friend.

We've looked a bit into possible meeting places, and we thought the Spanish Steps at Caesar's Palace might be a good place for those 21 and over (I hate to exclude the younger people, but having lived in Vegas until I went to college, I realized there aren't many places to meet on the Strip that AREN'T bars). I'm sure a meeting place will be decided later for those interested, but I thought I'd just throw it out there as an option

Also, we would totally be down for a Hyperion hotel room party, just sayin'.

Hi guys, sorry I've been neglecting to reply on the thread... I've been busy with my costume! :P

I've literally never been to Las Vegas so... I think it would be safe to defer to people who actually know the area. I'm liking Kirito's idea. If we find that the fan fest has more open space than we anticipated, we could always find a meeting place at the fan fest itself... but if not, we can meet at the Spanish Steps?

I'd be happy to figure out a 'meeting place' as the event gets closer. I have no idea what the venue is like so the location will probably be decided on once we all get a look at the size of the place, and available hangout spots.

12 people from my LS, Code of Honor, will be attending Vegas Fan Fest!

Myself and eight of my LS mates will be there. We actually rented a house a mile or two off the strip instead of booking a bunch of hotel rooms, so we aren't going to be in that area around the clock, but as long as the meet isn't some ridiculous time late at night I don't see why we couldn't stop by.

I am unfamiliar with the Rio layout since I typically goes else where in Vegas but google maps has a nice layout:

(I’m guessing FFXIV will be taking up the back in the Pavilion and/or Amazon Rooms.)

It looks like Hyperion has a pretty good chunk of people going so staying close or within Rio might be best for a meet up? Perhaps meet up after the Fair hours?

Maybe the Masquerade Bar? They’re open 24hrs according to google. There is also TGIF across the street.

I'll be there from Hyperion along with 3 of my FC mates! We should do a Saturday night Hyperion dance party probably, right? We're all staying at the Rio too!
