Really, they need to add more DF incentive. All quests say to use DF for the dungeon/raid/trial to do the quest (you technically use it still for PF, but usually not to find people), more people using actual DF would help with queuing (though I know roulette tries to help with this), and using PF already has the bonus of no queue time/leaving penalty (if used correctly)

Pf doesnt always fill the whole party, and some pre-made groups get longer queue times

I have a news flash for you... You ARE playing with a bunch of anonymous people you will never, EVER, see again. EVER. The ones who are interested in building a relationship with you will. The rest will join your silly PF party, get their win, and move on to do things with their existing circle of friends. I don't see that every server needs to be isolated from the others just so you can pretend you are having a super-profound social experience. Go to a coffee house ffs.

Like Souljacker says, the most you'll even get out of that is seeing a familiar name in Mor Dhona and then waving towards them and then they look at you not even remembering who you were. I get it, you have no friends and want to make friends. Go make a social LS with like minded people.

I disagree with OP. I like using DF because I feel like I can actually get stuff done. OP already listed the incentives of PF.

No thanks, because giving control to power mongers is not the right thing to do.

I can just imagine how many people will get left behind because someone doesn't like their play style.

    then boots them from PF.

    Bad idea.

You say get to know the community, though you probably boot half of the community out of party's to get to your goal.

reason people don't use PF most of the time is because of that reason I just said and that's probably why PF is becoming un popular. I don't see much PF runs unless its extremes.

I don't even bother with PF anymore. When I was still trying to clear Garuda EX, Titan EX, and Ifrit EX, 90% of the time, there'd be people hollering for "Farming groups. No noobs!", which even if I knew exactly how the fight went, I would avoid like the plague because most of the time, the people who started those groups would be complete assholes if anyone made even the slightest error.

There just seems to be this "Zero Tolerance" policy in the hardcore endgame content like Coil and EX Primals which shows its ugly face in PF primarily, and it acts as a repellant for me to even touch PF.

If people in-game would be just a little more patient and resist the urge to be jerkfaces at the slightest provocation, maybe I'd consider going back to Party Finder. Just not worth dealing with those kinds of people.
