I already have everything up to Atma weapon stashed away on a retainer. Been collecting alex and crit+det materia for the time being.

In terms of my preparation, I have: Radz-at-Han Quenching Oil, all 12 Atma, 3 Thavnairian Mist, 2 Materia of each type (since I don't know which 2 Materia they'll want), and 3 Superior Enchanted Ink sitting on a retainer. Currently working on getting the Alexandrite to stuff on there too. As for the materia, I think Skill Speed is still a point of interest because it doesn't seem like the mudra seals use TP at all. Only the physical attacks. And it appears that if you can do the mudra signs faster, you can cast more ninjutsu spells in a period of time ?
It could also be that they are considered "spells" so you would want spell speed instead of skill speed. I guess it could go either way.

This is part of the trouble with being able to be all classes on one character. We won't even get into how having your job share the same level as the class just adds to it.
Im not following. What does that have to do with what materias would be the most beneficial to Ninja?
EDIT: I just read that and it sounds kinda rude, that was not my intention lol.

I'm glad to see other people stash the items needed for the ninja relic weapon upgrade quest line like I am but for me my ninja will only get to animus. Because I plan on slowly working on having the 4 other classes/jobs that I like get there animus first, since I already got my bards novus and my smn to animus now it the long atma grind for my mnk and drg.

Yeah, I started stockpiling for Ninja when it was announced. I'm currently at 12 atma, 3 inks, 3 oils, 1 mist, 47/75 Alex, 3 sands/1 oil, and a ton of materia for melding (I SB atleast 3 times a week). Having such long term goals has actually made gameplay for me much more enjoyable.
