question about personal housing

Does anyone know what the plan is for this? Not so much when it's coming out, but more how they're going to utilize it.


Is it going to be fully instanced, or are there going to be limited plots like there are for the FC housing? Will it have it's own town district thing or will it be part of the FC housing areas? If we're in an FC with a house in, say the Goblet, will we be able to buy a personal house in Lavendar beds/wherever the gridania Personal House area will be, or will we be locked to the area our Company lives?

After the mess with FC housing and how dead the wards kinda feel I actually hope we can just buy a personal instanced zone with a house and some land.
I'd love to see something like the farm in monster hunter with nodes you can gather every few hours for random mats and upgrade them.

I'm hoping for personal instances, or new areas similar to the FC wards but with their own design. I just hope we can buy different size houses, since having my own mansion has become my current FF dream. XD

Otherwise I don't think SE has said anything about housing other than we can have our own gardens and that it'll be cheaper than FC housing.

The housing district is neat, but I think that a personal zone would be nice- specially since it would then be highly mutable (if it was a pocket of the void you could make reasons for why you can change the land or sky box, and really set your own kind of housing area).

So yeah, yay for instanced personal areas~
