You're just all over the place with this. If the skills were chosen pseudo-randomly and the mob was a 1-attempt thing, you couldn't practice. You couldn't discuss strategy. It would be like practicing die rolling, or discussing strategy on it.

The only practice would be knowing your class/role. The only strategy would be playing your class/role well.

Anyway, other than those obvious flaws, it's not a bad system. It should have its own rewards, though, not tied to anything else. And it shouldn't be exclusive to any type of playstyle; there should be varying levels of this so that everyone can participate.
