Inventory Loot Items, double ups of the same thing

Probably a silly question. But I seem to have two different types of the same loot item in my inventory and I cant link them. One seems to have a glow (cant really describe it any other way) and the other appears normal (ie 15 Animal Hides (Glowing) and 23 Animal Hides (Normal). Just wondering because they are taking up necessary space in my retainers inventory and my inventory. Are they special because they are glowing or can I get rid of them by selling in the market. Is there any difference between the two items

High Quality and normal Quality:
for crafting Materials that means that crafters will have it easier to craft high Quality products

For products hq means better stats (like more hp restored with a potion or beter attributes on a weapon and such)
hq in generell is more valuable then nq but depending on your crafters lvl it might not make a difference if a low Level material is hq or lq for the outcome of your crafting.

Also, you''ll see a symbol after the name of HQ materials (like a fusionned Cc symbol)
