I know this is not the place to even post this, but I might as well try to get this out.

Dear Naoki Yoshida and the incredible team behind FFXIV,

I was overjoyed when I managed to purchase the VIP ticket, knowing the chance to meet you and many of your team members was eminent. Now, due to my worsening condition, I have been rejected the option of going. I just hope that this message can reach you and hopefully convey what words I can in place.

I wanted to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for maintaining the growth of this incredible game. It has been one of the only joys left in my day since I was diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia, and it keeps me sane while the world around me becomes shrouded and hazed. I might not have the ability to do what I could before such as challenge the likes of Coil, but just having the ability to log on and surround myself in the atmosphere has helped me more then most of my medication. I hate not having the chance to tell this to you in person, but I hope this will suffice. I cannot thank you and the members of the FFXIV team enough for recovering the grandeur of Eorzea and giving me a place to fight on, so that I could keep myself going mentally and outside her boarders.
