So going into a fight with a guide is cheating? Wow.Sometimes I wonder if the real hardcore players (those who clear raids without watching a step-by-step guide) are bothered with these "skilled" raiders (whose only skill is following said guides) being able to use exclusive gear that they cheated to earn, or at least as bothered/vocal as the latter about non-raiders getting gear that isn't even high allagan.
Not cheating in the sense of exploiting the system or using hacks, more about... How do you feel about using guides to play single player games? (from start to end)
I haven't played single player games in a while but until not so long ago reading guides to play a game was considered really bad and would label you as a bad player, then suddenly with MMOs reading guides instead of playing the game is considered good and "skilled", at least for those who wait until guides are out before trying out new content.
When did "being good at following a guide" become "being a skilled gamer"?
Guides just give you an idea what's going on instead of going in and wiping over and over to the same mechanic. You still have to learn the timing and feel for the fight yourself. Comparing that to a single player game is incredibly naive. Nobody wants to run with players that die to stuff over and over til they learn it. At that point you're just wasting everyone's time.

I think if there was a maximum amount of seals you could obtain per week then it would not be so very congested and become more relaxed...
But there you have it huh? Complaining about the caps on soldiery, oils, sands... they were removed for allied... and now we are here.
I am i107 and have cleared t9 consecutively for the past 8 weeks. Ilvl 110 people still stuck on titan and t5 are hilarious.

You don't need i106 to get to T7.. we did it in under i98 gear. Hell we just cleared T8 with most ppl under i100 gear.
It is not the "easy gear" that helped you, it is the grinding and wipes that taught you how to win.

Since when has gear EVER meant that you're skilled?
Even pre-hunts I've found people with top-end who couldn't do their job if their real world lives depended on it. There are so many people willing to carry others. You can literally buy runs on elite mobs for crying out loud.
Gear won't save you at endgame. It's the mechanics of fights which will kill you, not your lack of stats. And, to be fair, Twintania is a brutal fight no matter what your ilvl. It only takes one failure to wipe the entire team.

sorry, can't help it, but lol, wtf, now there are people complaining about trying to make an environment where everyone is happy...
giving people better gear would only help the game, if you think some people are bad players with good gear, imagine how much you would suffer these players when they have bad gear.
this game is not hard, just require ppl to not lag and not be dumb, challenging people won't stop their internet connection being bad, and it won't make them not bumb. on the other hand, with better gear, they might perform a bit better therefore less suffering for everyone else.
Spamming rage of halone is actually one of the best ways to build single target threat fast, the multiplier for hate still applies out of combo, so halone still builds 3x the threat that w/e the first attack in the combo does, it just seems less because damage is also applied in the calculation (does about half damage out of combo). If i really wanna creep up agro fast without waiting i spammed halone when i played pld. i don't see it as a bad tactic.
