Yes I do, we noticed months ago the timers were different after a maintenance, like, they were always spawning in the same order (Garlok/Laide/Croak/Mind > Nandi > Minhocao > Theda + Zona etc), always around the same time so we just basically don't trust the trackers after a maintenance. But since Theda and Zona shares a lot of things (conditions, respawn time) I would find it more logical if they also shared the same max respawn timer, just like Lampalagua, Wulgaru and Brontes shares the same one. They most of the time spawn one after another. (though I've always thought it was more based on a percentage of chances, like, the window just opened then you have only 1% of chances, and as time goes by, the chances go up. Since sometimes it's just a matter of seconds, you eat a food in a spawn point, take 10s to move to the next one then Brontes spawn)

I don't remember the timing when I saw it happen, so it's very possible my observation was right up against a cooldown. If and when the weather gets super-rainy again, it's something to watch for.

Overall, I think you've done a great job with this Vandesaan (and whomever has helped) as it's on the money. I'm looking forward to sleuthing out the new hunts in the expansion!

You just made me aware of a typo. I copied Bonnacon's respawn line and forgot to change it on Theda, it's supposed to be the same as Zona. Fixing it.
For your interest, the normal "spawn order" (based on cooldowns) is very often going to be:
    The Garlok
    Nunyunuwi
    Nandi
    (Mindflayer/Croakadile if moon phases align)
    Minhocao
    Zona Seeker
    Thousand-cast Theda
    Safat
    Agrippa the Mighty
    Mahisha
    Bonnacon
    Croque-Mitaine
    Brontes
    Wulgaru
    Lampalagua
    Mindflayer/Croakadile

I'm glad you appreciate it! If you want, I can retroactively go back in time and calculate all the old weathers to see if we've had multiple cases on Laideronnette being on triple (or more) Rains?

Yeah, happens, only if everything goes well :P I guess Moogle isn't very luck with Safat and Agrippa, they barely never spawn spawn that soon... And Nuny it's just that it cannot be done alone ! But yeah you're right, it's the right order.

Oh that reminds me, I have a question that bothered me for a while. Did someone already managed to spawn Brontes by staying at the same spot ? Without changing at all, just by spamming food ? Or you have to move ? Since it's "timer linked" I suppose there is no need to move to another spawn spot ?

You are quite right, and there was nothing more annoying for those who give hours of their time to spawn S Ranks to see a flood of players who are cheating shouting for invites before you even know the mark has spawned, Nunyunuwi was the worst for this, you'd be stuck doing a fate only for these zombies to get there and pull it before you've even formed a full party. The selfish bastards don't even share the location of the hunts. The guy behind Guildworks is a complete cunt who tries to control who hears about hunts first and SE continue even now to ignore it.

Anyway, one a positive note. The information on this thread regarding the hunts is spectacular, I used it when I played the game so well done to Vandes and anyone else who contributed to it. It kicked the shit out of what was on that old wiki page.

The "advanced theory" which we can't quite confirm without immediately being able to counter it by saying the cooldown wasn't up already; a specific spawn location has a "landmine" waiting for someone to eat at it and when you finally find it he will spawn. The reason we think think this is because we've had a _really_ off day on Excalibur once where Brontes was at +28 hours overdue (from minimum respawn) and we couldn't get it to spawn at a single one of the locations for TWO HOURS until someone remembered there was a location inside the Qiqirin pit and it immediately spawned there when someone ate at the spot.

That's some interesting news. I didn't know that. So basically there would be a definite timer AND a specific spawn location ? No random spawn at all. I also thought you had to "step" on the "landmine" as well, but I had doubts since I never wanted to spend hours on the same spot.
About 3.0, this thread will update with the new hunts ?

I have no way of verifying it works that way, but that's how it's assumed it works after that incredibly weird day where nobody could get him to spawn until we went to that one spawn we'd not eaten at.

I will probably be updating the thread for 3.0, of course pending that the launch version of 3.0 will immediately contain hunts.

I've had a couple of Brontes like that. The most reecent one I've force popped, there was just one more spot for me to eat at when he finally popped.
