Oh perhaps the ("normal") chocobos ? Everybody got one (+ the black one from HW) so I suppose that could be the answer ?

Also gathering cotton bolls kind of make sense if it want to make threads again.

People from JP DCs seem to have some Tyger pops with throwing away Rail Tenderloin, basically salt&light 5.0

Dropped one and it popped. 2nd and 3rd spawned fast too, although other people were trying then too.

I didnt even drop it, just stepped on the spawn point with it in my inventory and it popped, maybe just really lucky timing cause i was hovering over the discard button as i got it

No luck for me so far

Dropped a single one while hunting an A mob and it spawned. Not sure it needs multiple throws, maybe just the one when it's cooldown is off. Also you can toss from anywhere, I tossed one when hunting an A, and the S spawned on the other side of the map.

Yeah we've just have a spawn on Moogle doing that.

Tarchia spawned on Zodiark. Self destruct on spawn point
