On a subject related to Okina, what's the earliest anyone's seen it respawn after a kill?

Lately, there's been people trying to actively spawn it whenever a full moon is present, but I don't think it's ever actually shown up before the 40+ hours mark (Or on the third full moon after the respawn window has opened).

The moon cycles every 37hrs 20min real time. Assuming it has a standard HW/SB window period, at a minimum it should take three moon cycles to spawn again. The third cycle is during the window, so it's not guaranteed to pop on enough kills. The fourth is past cap, so it should be pretty easy to get it to pop instantly or soon after enough kills. That's been our experience anyway.

It's a pity it's virtually impossible to ascertain how many Yumemi kills it takes for a spawn due to how small the windows it can actually spawn in are.

It took over almost half a hour of constant killing for the most recent spawn on Cactaur with all three caves occupied by a player each.

I've successfully spawned Gamma the second the clock rolled over to 5:00pm while standing on a spawn point. This was just after 132 hours since last kill....and I barely..kinda...not really...got it on video. It popped just behind my camera, but I barely see it flicker on my screen as it pops. -.-

Special thanks to the other spawners of Goblin for allowing me conduct this experiment. Next up...trying to find the end of the nightly window... (this will be harder)

132 hours after the last kill is not the max window. I don't get it why that's still floating around. We had a 135 hours Orghana - we had a 133 1/2 hours Udumbara, we had Kaiser at 140 hours ... Gandarewa can go as high as 150 hours and we gathered every hour for 24 hours straight ... BoP near 150 hours. Bone Crawler over 140 hours. Pale can even go missing for days even though you can get lucky with maps. Let's not start with Agrippa here.

So if we would say that it's a "forced spawn" at 132 hours then everything going much higher doesn't make sense. Naming it a "forced spawn/maxed window" at 132 hours is wrong then.

My apologies... I removed the "max window" wording so not to cause issue and went to reply to you, but my co-worker was staring down into my soul demanding that lunch happen NOW. lol

The 132 number is from my personal experience alone and shouldn't (nor any other number for that matter) be considered fact...unless of course SE comes out and states it so (which I seriously doubt they would). So that said, I apologize for stating something as fact that can't really be proven. Should I get more data that suggests a higher number, I will increment that number accordingly. I've been proven wrong before and welcome it.

150 hour BoP... going on my logic only, I'd be wanting answers. That said, I wish that would have happened to me. Curious though... Did the 140 hour Kaiser happened in the same timeframe as the 150 hour BoP on the same world?

Sadly no, happened on different windows and it even repeated itself - but yes, it was all on the same world.
It really get's frustraiting .. I mean .. you gather every node for Gandarewa and he just won't show up far far into the window.
You go afk and let Squonk chirp for an hour straight and nothing happens.

In the end it's good for testing and seeing how far it can go .. or if there are other conditions need to be met. Like a Croque at 83 hours - or Safat at 57 hours after the last kill .. or at 92 hours ..
And I can't say this enough ... I don't wanna talk about Agrippa at all .. the RNG for double rain for Laideronnette gets me everytime as well.


Also about Udumbara:
JP Wiki and we also say it's Leshy, Diakka and Sapria - yet our Spawnmembers had spawns with only Leshy and Diakka and we were looking if anyone was killing Sapria, which wasn't the case.
And they are trying for a few hours sometimes so we can be sure not many Sapria were killed before.
So could it be that it's just x amount of any plant type mob? Or was it just bad RNG? Udumbara is the only S Rank that I can't fall in love with.

Pale Ride and Agrippa are in the same boat for me. I swear ours is sniped quite often.

I've wondered too if its an X number of plant mobs. This would explain the confusion on what spawned it when these Ss were finally released. I've been wondering the same about the Yumemi for Okina.

As for Bone Crawler, I keep thinking there is something more than just take the choco-porter back and forth, but can't prove it. There's been a few times I've taken the porter between the two aetherytes several times and nothing, but as soon as I go between Rhalgar's Reach and Ala Ghiri once or twice, it pops. So far I've been writing it off as coincidence, but its in the back of my mind haunting me.

For Stormblood S ranks, 132 hours max respawn has been my personal observation, but it's not a forced spawn like an A rank. The spawn conditions still have to be met.

That's the same for all S ranks. That's why Nandi, for instance, will often spawn right by the aetheryte when its timer is up - it's set to go off, but you still need someone with a minion to run over its spawn point and those are the closest ones.

Thank you for the additional confirmation! I managed to get a spawn of my own just after 5pm right after poking the same spot in the 4-5pm bracket prior, so I think that side has been pretty well confirmed at this point.

The latest known spawn I've seen is still 7:49am, so assuming hourly brackets, I've been limiting my poking to the 8-9am period every day. Either one day I get a spawn, or never again. :P
