Let's talk about Hunts - a detailed rundown of their assumed mechanics

Killed only leshy and diakka and it spawned twice with those conditions only. Roughly 50 kills on both. Almost all 3 spawns were past 120h+

Hunts can be really stubborn and take 40+ hours into open window sometimes.

Gilgamesh - Udumbara [2] spawned at 132h. Tried slaughtering Leshy, Diakka, Mosslings, Sapria all day since instance 1 had spawned previously and 2/3 were left. Instance 3 had a completely random spawn at 127h that no one was killing in and wasn't spotted until a random check.

So we decided to do the Evil Seed boss fate, cleared all sapria adds during the fight and downed him but got no immediate trigger. We started flying back to leshy and diakka but got the trigger about a minute later before any kills. Spawn location was in the river up north so no one from the fate group was nearby.

Theory: clear the fate + leshy / diakka / ??? quota like Leucrotta

Last remaining SB Hunt being Salt & Light just spawned on Shiva after 135 hours. Only throwed like 4 items away and he popped up immediately.

Our last Bone Crawler apparently spawned too after 130 hours or more. Was sleeping at that time.

Was also doing this. Was killing Leshy's, then Diakka while partymate killed Leshy's. Noticed people doing Evil Seed fate and went to help. After Fate, killed one or two Diakka, then noticed people LFG in shout for S rank.

Just spawned Udumbara on Zodiark now, Evil Seed FATE wasn't involved. Spawned after killing a Leshy, got a Beech Log drop from it as well, whether it's related or not to it spawning I'm still unsure

The question would be did you see the fate fail anytime you were killing leshys. Maybe someone completed the fate recently. Just tossing out ideas. I think I'll watch the fate more closely and see if it fails and Udumbala still pops.
