I spawned Kaiser Behemoth just now while looking for Kreutzet.

And then there's Senmurv. It hunts the hunters who are currently hunting. I've spent an unreasonable time looking at the available fish in The Dravanian Forelands, assuming that a fisher is a hunter, and I can't see any connection. Senmurv shows up at any hour of the Eorzean day, which could put it similar to Zona Seeker which just requires a Glimmerscale during the right weather.

Couldn't Senmurv be popped while doing actual Hunts of A & B ranks in the area? Has that been tried out to see if it's just killing A's & B's and maybe after certain amount of kills it'll pop or pop at random after a certain kill?

Moogle has a bunch of active hunters and Senmurv never spawned before the patch icnreasing XP from FATEs. In fact we also got that theory last month and even if there wasn't any spawn we kept doing it just in case. I don't think that's the trigger. (some of us killed B ranks in chain for hours)

However, that fish requires Clouds weather to be catchable. But we've seen Leucrotta on different weathers like fair, lightning, cloud etc (and we can't say it was "late found" because of the INCREDIIBLY huge amount of people using Shitwo- I mean Guildwork on Moogle -_-).

You're absolutely correct, and I went back and looked at the weather for the various Leucrotta times I have and they do not match Lungfish catching always, even when I look up to six weather cycles backwards. I'm all out of ideas for this one.

Maybe the killing mobs theory isn't wrong. But the only way to be 100% sure of it would be a visual spawn :/

Excalibur's Leucrotta is almost at 90h now, so I am going out researching once preparations for Savage tomorrow is done. Hopefully will find something

One of thing is stumbled on now is that the localized hint for Leucrotta states "beast blood", while the Japanese hint states 魔物の血. I'm not sure 魔物 is used for beasts, but I can't say for sure. Translated literally it's "evil things", but it's common to find dictionaries mentioning it being "demons" or "evil entities". I'm questioning the whole kill dragon bit, since why would Leucrotta consider its fellow dragons evil? Or are we looking at it from the perspective of the person describing the situation and Leucrotta going into a frenzy on behalf of its evil brethren?

oh yeah, we had our second Kaiser Behemoth of this maintenance cycle on Excalibur. First one was at 58h after maintenance, second 92h after the first.

We may or may not get ours, 77 hours was a no show.

I have noticed there is a new spawn point for A/B ranks at x25 y 32 in cortheas western highlands too.
