AT BEST we'll get iLevel90 dungeons, but they need the dungeons to be fight-able to the people who just jumped back into the game and missed the 6 monthS cycle (basically people who still use DL and i90)
with BC1 clearly easy (exept t5) it's pointless to add a dungeon for i90, you will have the hunt, BC for i90 add another place for get this stuff is pointless.
note even a dungeon that will ask i100 gear will be fast outdated, by people that will be in i120-130... they really need to reduce the progression of the ilevel...

we need to have place outside raid that will be dangerous, we can't continue to add content for new player, we need to have content that offer challenge and more important utility to the gears get into raid. or it will be meaningless to get stuff passed i90 if the new dungeon drop i90... it means it will be easy to do it. and that will only leave us with the fact that the gears from the release is still the best gear for more of 90% of the content of the game one year later. it's scary in a way, when you see how much stuff they have added. new player are only new until the reach 50 after that, only with hunt, it's easy to get in less of 2 days the full myth stuff. making them fully geared for face more of 90% of the content of the game.

just a list of all the content that can be beaten in i90 gears:
    - tribes quest
    - frontline
    - all the dungeon of the game (the old and new one)
    - all the primal fight of the game (hm and extreme one)
    - BC1
    - CT and ST
    - all the FATE of the world!
    - Hunt.

some guild can probably beat the 2 first turn of bc2 in i90 too

the 2.4 will bring the i120-130 (probably) and outside the new tier of raid, what will be the point to gather this stuff? since the other content of the game will be simply crushed more by this difference of ilevel?

This game is fairly easy, apart from Coils and Extreme mode. ALL of the existing contents are pretty much teaching players the mechanics that are used OVER and OVER, hammered to you through and through. It is extremely baffling that most PUGs group cannot clear some of these contents (not incl. Coils or Extreme). Crystal Tower is like a culmination of all the stuffs you have been learned - and yet many groups still wipe. I don't know how much easier this game should be, other than literally spelling out a big checklist...

Perhaps they should add more guildhest from level 40-50 that further teaches more mechanics to these newbies? I think a lot of the players are just not used to the "action heavy" mechanic of this game. Lots of moving, lots of dodging, lots of "take care of these and that before boss" - all of these seems ancient language for those who are used to auto attack, zerg boss, kill kill kill "Call of Booty" type of players.

Training will not fix things anymore is the issue.

People just cannot grasp the concept that the game works in patterns. It will always do the exact same things over and over and over.

It is really that simple. Learn the pattern and learn where to stand and every fight in the game becomes a laughable joke. If a player is not capable of recognizing patterns and learning how to avoid each death move... there is no way to help that person.

It is as simple as "Get out of the Fire, it burns". You should not have to get burned more then once before you realize hey I should not do that anymore.

Maybe they could add key points on a boss that dps could focus on breaking. Like damage Titans legs would stop his stomps for a time.

There are some tank swaps or stuns, with DR I might add, but what about all the other abilities that are pretty much ignored in dungeons?

What I mainly see is kill a few trash mobs and end up in a small, circular, arena type theater where you dance to avoid instakill mechanics. Even the adds are simple dps checks while still dancing. What happened to jumping to different levels (ala SWTOR or Rift) to avoid damage. What happened to actual strategy and having to use all the skills that the game gave us?
This isn't a bad idea. Slow would increase the AoE circle before it goes off, haste would increase movement speed, float would "absorb" a landslide or plume, and so on.

Honestly? I think its more of the community than the content. After one or two wipes you have "that guy" going off and just make it not fun for anyone.

personally i don't call this raiding... and i'm sure a lot of big raider of other game must feel the same.
this game have no teeth because of this, the boss is not hard, the boss have almost only one way to be beaten that the trouble. you don't fight the boss, you simply play DDR. i have loose all interest for raiding because of this...

So to those using WoW as a example is bad since WoWs sub's went from 12m world wide to about 6 now. Ya Blizzard is killing their own game.

But hey this is your opinion some like ff14 setup and some don't.

Exactly and most comparisons to WoW are to the golden age of BC/vanilla not the crap that is being introduced today.

I only heard bad things about Vanilla WoW. "Nothing to do for like 6 months to a year, one raid"

I thought it was obvious when pretty much only one group of 8/2302902039203 has cleared savage mode. Btw, that divisor should be apparent exaggeration, but I guess I should make it clear for some folk.
