    Updated that we want!

    First off this letter is not complaining about what has been done at all.I really enjoy everything that 1.18 has brought to the table , but at the same time we are still lacking key features.Some of these features I believe should have been introduced from the very beginning.It seems some of the best key features from the last Square MMO were left out for what reason I have no idea.Please feel free to comment on any of the listed ideas that I feel are left out or add your own.

    1. Increase trade quantity ( please make it able to trade with others with more than 4 slots! 8 at least.)

    2. Search/Party feature for people. i.e.( /sea all )? or Putting your flag up to seek?

    3. What happened to losing exp when you die? I feel that the way it is now there is not much a consequence to your character expiring.

    4. Final fantasy based characters? We want more enemies and mobs from the FF series not rats and mice please.

    5. Hidden effects and secrets? More hidden areas on the map or weapons and armor with hidden effects?

    6. NM's that don't repop every 5 minutes , or make it more difficult to find or track the monster for more of a accomplished goal.

    7. Delivery Box?

    8. Auction house? The retainer system should be done with completely why fix something that is not broke like the auction house? It has been almost a year and the retainer system in many peoples eye's is a fail.Just bring back the auction house it was soo much easier to view and decide what gear is best for you needs.

    9. Mog house or something similar...

    10.Linkshell based headquarters with bank and other features.


    11. Mining spots should be in caves or in the MINES? why is it called copperbell or nanawa mines if there are no mining spots...? Always seemed weird to me. I just feel this needs to be changed big time. It doesnt feel right to be mining in the middle of the open field.There are plenty of caves/dungeons lets use them.

    12. Gardening!! Yes,please!

    13. Add more retainers. having multiple jobs at R50 and being a maser crafter leaves you with no more space and the need for more retainers.

    14. Chainskill? and magic burst? Battle regimen no thanks.

    Agree with all.
    In regards to #3 they are making it so we get durability penalty to equipment when we die instead of exp loss. I kind of prefer exp loss myself as people in dungeons come out all naked and damaged lol.
    #11 NPCs say the actual mines have been all mined out thats why we cant go in there to mine. Maybe it will change later who knows.

    Anyway I would go more for something like:

    Features

    Store Rooms! A temporary solution to player hosing!
    - A Simple room with a few manakins for armour storage and a treasure chests for storage but no Mogs I'm afraid
    - Summoning bell!
    - Leave your retainers in the room to sell you wear to only allowed people.
    - Allow up to 12 people to join you at once
    - Attempt to grow plants? (always wanted to try that on FFXI sorry)

    New R35 Dungeon "The halls of Toto-Rak" R35
    Deep below The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak, lies halls long forgoten even by the oldest of Gridania's tombs. yada yada yada
    - 7 potential Bosses (you'll have no idea which you face till you open the final door)
    - collect all 21 mecina parts to unlock the final room and face all 7 bosses at the same time (requires R45)

    New R50 Dungeon "XXX" R50
    Drive deeper into the depths of Coerthas and face off agains a more substantial Imperial force while battling mons.. meh you get the idea...
    - 21 Potential boss (face 2 each encounter)
    - 33 sub bosses (face 3 each encounter)
    - 9 potential paths to the inner chambers which will unlock for you
    - 12 puzzles to face each encounter (1 per encounter) with wave after wave of imperial troops attacking you.

    New Death penalty (numbers would need to be played with but)
    - Vastly reduced durability damage on death.
    - SP loss affects R26-50 only.
    - You can not level down.
    - Sp loss only accurs when you die twice within 15mins
    - Bonuses for having sp at different levels at Max Rank
    Sp at 1/4 of R50 = X% to Hp
    Sp at 1/2 of R50 = +10 resistance to all elements
    Sp at 4/5 of R50 = +3% to attack on WS's (dose not effect ability's from other classes)
    SP at max of R50= +3% to all Job WS's


    Environmental/Npc
    - Mob localisation
    (mobs should suit the locations. Crabs on a beach not the middle of a forest)
    - Mob Size reduction on smaller creatures
    (mice larger the some of the playable races?)
    -Npc movement so they are less like statues.
    Chocobos in a small pen area in the city wandering around)
    People wandering about the city (spawning at one door then walking somewhere else and vanishing? going to the stalls and back)

    - New regional only mobs
    - Small furry critters that run away when you look at them
    Just to add more life to the game

    Crafting/Items
    - Two or more designs/colours for all items above Rank 40
    - Citys state weapon/armour designs for all classes
    - Dye option for gear after its creation
    (via player made only dye)
    - Addition of more colours for armour inline with the dyes allowing 2-3 dyable sections on all items.
    (Body/Sub/Trim)
    - New Items that use both hi and low end materials no more wasted willow!

    Dungeon and Grand Companys
    - Dzemael Darkhold extended time to 90mins
    - Mobs no longer reset to location (all Dungeons)
    - New areas added to The Dzemael Darkhold.
    - 3 new Bosses and 6 sub bosses only 1 boss sub section can be cleared each run.

    - New Grand comapny Qests added for "XXX" and "HoM-R"
    - Additional quest added for Darkhold and Maws of Toto-Rak for the new content
    - New Sub quests added
    (Story content 2 quests lines with 3+parts for R25/35/45 for each city)
    - New localised Amour and weapons with different looks for each Company!

    Misc
    - Leg movement while drawing your weapon while moving
    - Additional Attack effets added (more to come later)
    - Auto attack on/off toggle
    - Additional caves and hidden beastmen encampments
    - New underground section added to Black Shroud amongst the tree roots!
    (the start of the overall and yes that would be a bad name for it lol)
    - Optimised load to better utilise GPU and CPU.
    - Barbershop added
    - New hair styles added for all races (no new features or hair dye that will come with the character Creation overhaul/expansion.
    - Slight reduction in mp cost and small increase in mp regeneration (I mean small but enough)

    A definite requirement, especially now partying is a much more viable option. Can't agree with this enough.

    Gear gets damaged, this is enough I think. This also is an incentive for crafting?

    Not a tip-top priority but I agree all the same

    I am getting more accustomed to the market wards... but it is still slow. You can't even order the search say by rank. I can do without an auction house if they allow us to buy from the menu and add some ordered searching

    I think a LS physical bank would cause too much drama/controversy (although sounds like a good idea if they can do it right), but some features missing from the linkshell are inexcusable (kicking players, linkshell messages, events calender?)

    Again would be useful, but I would say after 1.20

    Can't agree with this enough =P. Don't forget EXP chains (which are coming I think)
    My own additions would be:
    1. An in-game real life clock (toggle on/off)
    2. Improve the responsiveness and speed of the UI
    3. Add more tabs to the chat window that filter to just show /tell /linkshell /party etc
    4. Add the ability to move abilities you can't de-equip around in your abilities+traits window. So annoying.

    Nah not exp loss thats stupid..
    I like FF for not having the standard normal Exp loss like every single mmorpg out there..
    FF needs to be unique.
    They are the only mmorpg i know that doesnt copycat other mmo's.
    Wow uses guilds... so do 5000 other MMO games.
    FF uses Linkshell i love that! It's not so regular like all other mmo's have.
    Damage to equipment is good. But make it easyer for people to get the repair items they need.
