Something weird between my WVR and CRP that I can't explain

One star, 97 difficulty, 40 durability synths.

Twinthread for WVR.
Spruce Lumber for CRP.

Same danged difficulty.

Can someone explain to me why my CRP, at 359 Craftsmanship, can complete Spruce Lumber in one step with Ingenuity > Careful Synth II (exactly 97 progress), but my WVR who has 361 Craftsmanship cannot? It fails at 93 progress. I'm literally using the same macro, and there's no food or FC buffs involved.

Only thing I can think of is make sure your ingenuity is set on both. Can use the same macro and it'll say "ingenuity is not a valid action" and not apply it if it's not.

Do your run between both sets by hand before making a macro, you will then be able to better eliminate errors like this. All crafts function the same; I agree with alistaire's assessment.

A tip for using macros as well, if they are generic for all classes, write out your list of all special abilities it uses then check that list off for each class, it will keep you out of trouble if you swap abilities around and forget.

And your using ingenuity I intentionally correct? So it couldn't be the difference between Ingenuity I and II.
