The link I posted earlier is an "announcement" of the mac port. I have a retina mbp early 2013 model with GT 650m. The game can run at 60 fps if it's run full screen (1600 x 1050) with standard laptop settings. Personally I wouldn't game on a mac with an Intel integrated chip (this is tantamount to Windows users saying they wouldn't game on a mac). Apple still sells macs with discrete gpus; they just sell them at a premium now, which is ridiculous since they were selling the same base model $500 less a generation ago.
Macs may be a niche market, but I'm sure this niche market contributes a not so insignificant subscriber count to W.o.W's 6.8 million subscriber base. Blizzard took the time and energy to make a mac client - what's so wrong with Square doing it?
