So hows that mac port going?

When I run ffxiv via bootcamp my MBP can get extremely hot; it has something to do with the computer's sensors not working properly on Windows and thus do not turn on the fans. The heat that isn't dissipated properly causes horrible frame stutters during TITAN ex. I do use a third party fan controller and it helps a little, but this a last resort solution, and something I would prefer not to use for the long term. Any update on the mac port, such as its e.t.a would be nice.

lol, reading that last line give me the vision that they have a white board some where in a dark room with an arrow on it pointing from a PC to a Mac.

More realistically, they might have the game launcher team looking into the matter while their in a state of lull till the first expansion approaches.

I don't get it. why the developers have to waste their time just for some people to be able to play the game on MAC while those players can just install Windows on the same machine. It's even dumber than making PS3 version.
