FFXIV Official (Troll) Forums.

Maybe the word Forum is synonymous with Troll and Flame.

Seems every forum I have ever browsed resorts to this state. I was really hoping for more from the Official forums of FFXIV.

I think my best input to the topic of this thread is:

- FFXIV is a FF (read the full game name)
- please don't compare a platform game to a MMO
- FFXIV has great potential. Patience is a virtue.
- All MMOs by nature have different balancing and development issues. These take time to fix.
- everyone needs to stop being immature and let SE do their job. The game will be amazing soon enough so stop making whiny threads.
- threads are best when they give a solution instead of just a complaints.
- if you want the game to prosper faster. See all the above

OK peps, lets not start attacking each other cos of individual opinion, people will believe whatever they wanna believe, I voiced my opinion with a passion and straight from the heart because I cared, and also voting with my wallet, so most likely i probably might have used a tone that might have offended some.
Like playing the game some people are there at the beginning and some join at a later date so yes what I said, something similar has probably been said already. If you don't care to read about it then just close your eyes

I wish this game wasn't a disappointment to me but I don't think any amount of patching will fix a broken designed game. Restart from scratch is probably the only way to redeem themselves i think.

FF7 was not my fav game, FF8 was, yes I've played the classic FF pre 7 releases

Something I just wanna point out, just for fun:

FFXIV = FF7 x2 Get it? lol in theory looking at this it should be 2x more than FF7 haha

I miss Bahumat!, Zanmato!, Tidus squeeky voice...actually scratch that one... and everything else that made FF what it was, is that a crime?

Dude, you do realize FF7 isn't the only FF, right?

No it wasn't, however it was the game that really opened up the franchise. For a lot of people out there it was the first final fantasy and what brought them to the series.

I stopped reading just about there. I'm also an indie game developer (just look me up) but I don't go around spouting nonsense like that. If you truly did work in the industry I'd be appalled.

I think you didn't understand what Dovaz was saying. He isn't saying that he is an Indie Game Developer and that his opinion is absolute.

He actually points at Sewje's behaviour. Sewje used the fact that he is an Indie Game Developer to add some credits to his post. Dovaz just joked summing up the overall idea in Sewje's post.

By the way, Sewje, you get this off of your chest, I think you needed it. But doing this, you sure have to be aware that a lot of people won't agree with you. And I understand your FFXIV = FFVII x2 point of view in term of gameplay and atmosphere quality. Just to answer that, I disagree this idea but I respect it. FFXIV is a completely different game. I'm not judging the team now. Currently, the game is not what I expected in many ways and I can wait until it becomes total fun. Time will let me know and not hate. Well that's the way I see things and I'm not telling anyone to use the same pattern.

Also, why have so many people been mocking the OP. You do know these are Official Forums right? Peoples can stack complaints against you for even being rude.
