I didnt like FF7 tbh, i like the story but I did not like the game much. I prefer 8 and 9 over it.
I disapprove of you using a title of a indie game developer in your rant. If your a developer you should know the problems Square Enix likely encountered with this game. I don't know if the old producer was the problem or maybe just management in general which has caused the game to be where it's at. But... the fact that Square Enix apologized publicly, and replaced team members to fix the game while allowing people to play for free.
That alone rebuilt my faith in Square Enix because man, let's see your indie games team of likely 2-5 people create an mmo. Not many producers and management teams can pull off leading hundreds to thousands of people in making a multilingual, multiplatform(eventually) mmo. At least SE had the balls to own up to the mess up and try dam hard to fix the problem.
So quick ranting about how this isn't a FF! This isn't FF7! Cloud is ma hero! I'm an indie game developer so my opinion is absolute! Cause no one cares, the true final fantasy fans are going to sit here patiently playing Dissidia 012 when it comes out this month while Square Enix's team busts there balls trying to make a currently free(monthly fee) mmo better for all these people complaining.
FFXIV is a great title, but it lacks a lot of things at the moment. It just wasn't delivered how it was invisioned and with Yoshi-P up to the plate now I honestly believe this game will turn into a true Final Fantasy heir.
....What on earth does this have to do with Indie games development other than you wanting to drop the fact that you and your 3-4 buds have possibly made a game?I disapprove of you using a title of a indie game developer in your rant. Kefka is so much better of a villain than Sephiroth. You can take your shallow emo boy with compensating sword, I prefer villains who are actually competent and crazily brilliant. Now if they made Hojo the main villain instead...
Wait you actually believe a dev-team is composed by hundreds or even thousands of people? lolThat alone rebuilt my faith in Square Enix because man, let's see your indie games team of likely 2-5 people create an mmo. I stopped reading just about there. I'm also an indie game developer (just look me up) but I don't go around spouting nonsense like that. If you truly did work in the industry I'd be appalled.
Oh he wasn't trolling at all. That's the real problem. He opened a whole thread about it and took his time to explain in fine detail how these kill streaks should work.
