    [REQUEST] Remove coil weekly lockouts

    As the header says. This is to give non static players more of a chance to practice turns. Some of us can't clear certain stances due to lack of people Avaliable to help and to practice. It's a pain trying to join a PF only asking for a clear experience people....how the hell do I get clear exp when I cannot practice? There's a few statics out there with a massive head thinking they r mega pros and of course they better than others due to the fact the can clear coil over and over again.that's thanks to their group and time for practice. Some of us cannot do it not because we rubbish but we haven't got the people to practice with.

    Let's make it fair for everyone and allow people to practice coil more often by removing the weekly lockouts from day 1. Practice makes better.

    Removing the weekly lockout wouldn't encourage more people to try and learn coil.
    At best you'd just get more experienced players carrying/teaching others how to do it, as opposed to bringing new players into learning it.

    Removing lock-outs in the content's prime creates more problems than it solves. If you can't find a group to your play style and time, then you will simply have to wait till the next tier of raids come out. Imagine if one group in your FC beats it, then they decide to carry everyone else in it to get a win. High Allagan weapons would decrease in it's valued reward, and difficulty in raids in general would decrease immensely.

    Most MMO's use lock outs for raids, and there is a reason.

    This is exactly the reason Yoshida himself gave regarding the lockouts. It's either a) they remove lockouts but make gear a low drop rate (a la FFXI), or b) they put in lockouts and guarantee some drops.

    F RNG.... guarantee drop is a much better solution. Lock out is fine as is. People shouldn't get carried through content anyway. Someone should pay the cost of carrying people (e.g., spending additional time clearing content because you're carrying people vs. clearing it super fast with your well oiled static). You can't have both...

    The weapons would not decrease in it's valued it would cost people 5-10+m to get the wep. Becuase people would start selling the runs which people are already doing now.

    You know it would be cool if they gradually eased the lockout until it is totally unlocked. If done right it could maintain the exclusivity of the gear initially. My FC as an example only has a few hours each week to practice fights as a group where most of the cutting edge raiders are able to practice a few hours several times each week, so we would still be behind the curve as we would have to still practice said content.
