Why would anyone care about getting i110 if you don't do coil? It's like wanting end-game crafting gear for not crafting...why? There's no content in the game that requires it or it would be as beneficial to as it would be to coil. Yes, it would help with hunts, Odin, and Behemoth but you don't really need it as much for those.

You don't need i110 gear for Coil either. Anyone who thinks they do can't play their job. i100 gear is enough for that and people were clearing before they were i100. i110 gear is to set you up for the basic requirement of 2.4

Yeah, to set you up for Third Coil in 2.4, which people who don't do second coil now.... won't be able to enter in the first place.

Well, not the basic requirements. i110 will be needed/ desired for Coil3, but we all know the dungeons will be like i80.

Don't read too much into the actual numbers. What I am getting at is the usefulness of this gear in non-coil content right now.

Maps? Don't need it.
Leves? Don't need it
FATEs? Better believe you don't need it.
Hunts, Odin, and Behemoth? i90 is sufficient, it's more about party structure and being able to actually see the mob.

Outside of Coil, the i110 gear has little to no use, and as you quite rightly pointed out, it is doable with a much lower ilvl and so a second soldiery ring wouldn't be needed.

Why would anyone play an MMORPG to only play with the same friends, rush to end content and ignore rest of game?... It's an open world game, there is no "wrong' way to play. Played a previous MMO where a player spent 7 years at lvl 5 roaming one of the towns and talking to people, he was the self proclaimed mayor, why did he do it? because he enjoyed it.

1: You don't have to rush to end-game content to get the second i110ring designed for your class.
2: RPing and progression aren't even similar. Being a self-proclaimed mayor is all good but can't compare to gear progression, people can play the game how they want.
3: Yes, people should enjoy the game.

The point here is that OP is asking for something that has a unique tag, to be removed to they can get their ilvl up that extra 1. Now, is that not rushing to reach end-game level? Just taking the easiest solution with little effort? If someone wants full i110, that's fine. But if someone is happy not having their ring from coil, why ask for something that is working well to be changed?

Implying that I am in some way insinuating that someone is playing the game 'wrong' points to the possibility that you haven't really given my posts your full attention.

Some people play the game to have fun. Not everyone plays to try and prove themselves or whatever it is youre so confused about.

That doesn't explain why you care to get full 110. Many people play to have fun, and as always, fun is subjective.
