Revamping gardening: ideas and suggestions?

Hi all,

I'm wanting to get community feedback and ideas on further revamping and expanding the gardening system. It seems this system has been quite neglected for several patches. I was hoping with HW they would add in new gardening seeds/soils/fertilisers, but nothing ):

It would be quite nice if I could help my fc crafters out by planting seeds of ramie stalks/heavens lemons/morels/ablathian mistletoe/etc.

Maybe we could even have a Chemistry version of this developed for the front yard that gave out ores? Could use special chemicals that when mixed together could produce chemical reactions to develop several types of ore/sand. I'm reminded of something similar to the synergy system in FFXI (although not as complex xD)

I would like some new stuff for my pretty garden aswell, please! What I could think of (beside for the HW-stuff ofc, we totally need that!): Some special fuel for the airship that needs stuff from crossbreeding (maybe +seeds from airship-ventures?) - the fuel would be crafted ofc but would require something from the garden (make it more effective or whatever). Some new housingstuff/minions needing new crossbreed-plants (like the broom and the pillow did).

Also: Some beautiful flowers - nothing to gain from them but the look (not like the boring modells we've got atm -.- Real flowers, please!). I would love to decorate my beds if I dont have to grow anything with just colorful flowers! There could be a need to crossbreed the seeds, so it would be actually something "special"
