The point is that Coil isn't even qualified to be an option when, even if you actually have a job and can't afford to sit on your ass for 4-5 hours a day, hunts are still more effective in the same time span. They're more effective in a shorter time span too.
It's not an option when there's no reason to pursue it.

People are complaining that paying roughly 400 sol is a bad thing? You can only get 450 a week. So you'll only be able to purchase one sands-of-time with it. Opposed to the no limit of daily grinding hunts via allied seals?

Or did I get the reasoning wrong on why people think it's a bad thing? /confused

You would get 2 sands weekly (ST will also drop sands soon)
Best would be for 2000 soldiery. 1 sand weekly from ST and 1 sand monthly from soldiery.

Furthermore lol... Wearing ONLY vendor gear shows you grinded skilless content, even though you need to mix both for BiS, it's clear a person with 0 High Allagan gear at this point in the patch progression is not an amazing raider.

Because it's worth stating again; you can already get Soldiery from Hunts. It is highly unlikely they will remove Sands as a purchasable item. I see no logical reason why not allow it to be buyable with Soldiery.

If done, people can, if they choose to, run dungeons again instead of going against, or being a part of, the horde. Dungeon queues come back down, and the forums find a new "FFXIV is ruined forever!" topic.

My point is why do you care what gear you have when you don't even attempt the only challenging content LOL.

And yes I'm better than you because I've cleared all content, it's okay... It's not the end of the world, it's a videogame.
