This guy also had the never to come into our TeamSpeak one morning after he left and I was the only one connected. I didn't say squat and he left shortly after. And the same day, he had reapplied to our FC and his application was promptly denied. And in which the person who denied him talked to him in tell and admitted to it and that he was gonna keep on doing what he was doing. At that point, our member screenshotted it and contacted a GM.

Also as of yesterday, this guy apparently "founded" his own FC. Which i'm very very worried about as I can see him being the type of person who will scam and loot any player that will fall prey into joining his FC. Which I don't want to see happen to new players that come to our server.

I would also be concerned about that. I've known FC leaders who have a great attitude regarding saving for a house, etc.. and then everything changes once the funds are actually saved. He could take the money all for himself and run. The best we can do is warn people about him ingame since we can't name+shame on the forums.

This guy got my FC too the other day. I was kicking myself because normally when someone applies I ask my LS if anyone knows the name, but I'd only just woken up and was preoccupied with something else, it was the one time I hadnt thought about it. He was only there for a few minutes and cleaned out the first two pages of our chest, which normally we only keep cheap beginner level stuff in there but seemed some members had put other stuff, including 300k worth of krakka roots, in there which he made off with. As it turned out, later that day LS was talking about this guy joining and leaving and hadnt realised he had applied to mine, if I'd spoken up they could have warned me.

Luckily my ls is full of nice people who were offering to replenish our chest and help out <3

Sorry this happened to you, I have no idea how SE could let this stand. I would say our best bet is to continue to report him to GMs until they actually decide to do something about it. This is borderline scamming and is not different then an RMT stealing your account.

this is really weird, actually. I kept getting invited to his FC yesterday which is odd considering I just started over, so it's not like he'd have anything worthwhile to loot from me. haha

that being said, I'm really glad I know who this guy is and what hes doing. definitely gonna warn my FC about him later, just in case.

I have mixed feelings about this entire ordeal because on one hand, access to chests should probably be restricted for new members as a precaution against these sorts of things... but on the other hand I can understand wanting to be nice to new players and letting them have access to low-level mats and such. I'd just suggest having the first few pages of your chest accessible to low level players and ONLY have junk/mats in there as a preventative.

I also have mixed feelings about the GMs. Honestly this is the type of thing GMs are *supposed* to handle, but then again FC drama is a very interpersonal sort of thing... so I can see the grey area here.

Mhm, I noticed that. He has now 15 members in his FC. All of them are new members, so they don't know him. I'm tempted to send this thread's link to any of their members, but I don't want to harass people. Yet, I'm worried for them...

`Not only is this a concern,`it lets one person bring down the trust of a whole community. If this keeps `going, it is only a matter of time before he has to take it to the mattresses. The community must continue to 'express their concerns and 'limit their chest access until the Cor of the problem has been resolved. ¢ T_T

As FC leaders we should be able to limit chest withdrawals per day. Simple as that. Our FC recently had the same issue.

One of our officers reported him and was told there was nothing that could be done. There's no rule against joining an FC and using a chest obviously, and no rule not to leave. While its clear he did what he did with malicious intent, sadly the GMs refuse to do anything based on their policy
