    vote abandon/leaving punishment

I am a semi seasoned player multiple 50's all very well geared T5 and primals cleared ect. Now to the point I see countless times in duty finder where new 50's are trying to do garuda, titan, T5 w/e and jerks will try once or twice then throw tantrums insult said new player and sit around till they are able to vote abandon. So I have a suggestion to improve overall fun and learning. That is to please please please remove vote abandon from this game. I also think you should increase the punishment time for leaving a duty to a hour and a half or two hours. Better yet leave it at 30 and make it go up 30 minutes for each time in a weekly reset. This would make people much more willing to give advice to new players instead of insulting them for 15 minutes and ruin thier playing experiences, improving gameplay for all!

Forcing people to stay around and preventing them from dropping or disbanding isnt going to solve anything.

It's not going to make the mood any better, not is it going to make them more helpful. It will just piss them off and will make them troll so he gets kicked. Which makes you have to look for a new member, but with your whole party pissed off now, instead of them just dropping and you having to look for a new member 5-10 minutes earlier.

The fact that people go Into duty finder and not expect new people, cry five minutes Into a fight and then leave, doesn't help anyone lol. The fact that you get 30min penalty for ditching people because they're new and you don't "feel like" taking out 5 mins to explain a couple things Isn't fair to people who are new to fights, period no matter how you look at it. If you can't help people you don't need to be doing DF or playing this game In general lol.

I agree that something is wrong with duties. But i have problems with exp players. If they see message about 1st time bonus they leave duty (garuda ex in my situation) after 2-3 failed attempts saying that they doesn't want to lose time.

Why not simply reward players for completion if a new player is present? Much like the daily roulettes does for Tanks and Healers... IF someone in the party has not cleared the level, the entire group gets a big reward. Seems like a simple fix to me.

There is a reward - 50? myth. But for the most of players who want to pass primals-ex this means pretty nothing. There are more easy ways to get myths. I think that reward in soldiery will not work too - expert roulette + single danges from it allows to get weekly limit w/o problems.

anyone with half a brain can already see whats wrong with this. no one is going to queue for anything if they have to wipe 7 times on garuda ex for the timer can run out. for people who have put in the effort, have studied or practiced with people they know(the proper way to practice), then there should be no reason to punish the people who do it right. there are people who go in there with absolutley no experience of the fight, causing everyone to get dominated. there is no reason for that, and no one should be punishe so severely becaus ethey dont want to wste an hour and several thousand gil repairing gear.

if you go into any fight thats worth a damn blind and you're causing the wipes, the blame is on you. Its not everyone's job to teach you the fight. Punishing them harder because people don't read up on an encounter or don't know what to do does nothing but waste everyone's time.

Honestly if you're queuing via Duty Finder, you should expect something like this. It's pretty pretentious to expect duty finder of all things to get everyone who knows the fight, especially Garuda EX who is essentially a wake up call for these sort of things.

Unless you want to be that sort of prick to a new player. Just go and make a party in PF if you don't want to deal with new people who don't know the fight; you can handpick the people you bring and even ask for a proof of clear.

Not everyone expects a significant difficulty jump going into EX fights. DFing an extreme fight is the equivalent of trying to LFR a normal difficulty raid in WoW; it just isn't happening with the amount of mechanics and difficulty jump from the LFR difficulty and 24 other players.
