Petition i made a mistake in the spelling when trying to correct it in google lol thank's google.

Hello, i am a Hardcore fan of final fantasy xiv and have been player from the release of the original FFXIV (2010) right up till present time and am still a paying sub to the mmo, i have introduced about 5-6 players who have subed for well over 90 days i find it insulting that i am not given the mount unless i find another person to invite which is going to be hard for me as the friends i have already play the game or have moved on to another mmo and i don't have anyone else who would be interested. so basically people in my position will have to buy a new account link it with the offer at hand and pay for a 90 day sub to a account they don't want or need, i find this underhanded and insulting, and i know i am not the only person who feels this way.

So if you agree with me that this kind of content should be available to tho's who are paying customers and loyal fans then please sign your name in protest to this unfair treatment, we are there fan-base, we are there income without us final fantasy xiv would not exist and we deserve to be treated with more respect.

I totally agree, i have previously invited friends to join the game who have subbed for more the ninety days and still sub to the game to this day, i want to be able to ride with my friends, and think the limitation of the invite a friend campaign is horrible.
Let us all have a double rider mount we all deserve to enjoy the same features for subbing monthly, if they want to add these <in my opinion> cash shop like features then make the game free to play and i will buy the mounts, but while we all pay our monthly subs we all deserve access to these features, i am aware that ffxi had an invite a friend campaign but there is a difference between giving away an exp bonus hat and a mount that has a feature many people will be unable to now use.
Please sqaure enix i love the game and i want to enjoy all its features as a paying customer!

If I buy a car and the month later that one have a special discount, I don't event think to go to the seller claiming he must refund me the difference in price. Got the point?

Maybe someone underage and not drive cars, I'll try to use terms that (hopefully) can be better understood: if you buy (and eat!) your Hamburger meal at McDonald's for 2$, and the day after there is a special sell at $1,50, if you are sane on mind you don't go there asking for a $0,50 refund.

Petition - i made a mistake in the spelling i'm not claiming to be the best at English but i don't think that your direct attempted to insult my intelligence by explain the definition of my mistake in words was in anyway called for.

As a company, SE needs to have something special to lure new people to their game. For 1.x players, we had the Legacy Campaign, for the 2.x we had the Veteran Rewards, for both the 1.x & 2.0 game we had the Collector’s Edition items, we had the Pre-order items (like the Cait Sith minion) and now we have the Recruit a Friend Campaign with the the feather, teleport boon and the double seated mount.

But, that doesn’t mean that we are not gonna get a double seated mount as an option within the game. We all know that the “Marriage System” is on the way and they showed a Double Seated Mount for that.

So, for one, i don’t think that SE is treating us unfairly since there are plenty of opportunities to introduce a Double Seated mount for everyone. But, let’s not jump to conclusions here… The mount could still be introduced at a later stage through the Veteran Rewards, the Marriage System and who knows… Even chocobo Breeding.

People just want to have that mount, right here, right now. They even go to great lengths to get as much of these bonuses, that they go out, buy another copy of the game, create a new account and use that account for the Recruit a Friend bonuses. If you want the mount that badly, that totally fine, but it’s all your choice. SE didn’t force you to do it. You as a player made that choice by yourself.

By all means keep requesting for the double seated mount for everyone, but just keep in mind that SE has to think of ways to attract people with special (limited) items as well. The “Lightning Event” is a great example of that.

How exactly do you expect this to work? Square Enix doesn't have any way to know which people invited friends before they added the 'invite a friend' system. All they have to go by are people saying they invited friends and should get the chocobo. If they start giving those people the chocobo, all of a sudden everyone on every server will have invited friends ...

There will be other ways to get a dual seater chocobo (marriage system being pretty much confirmed), so you'll just have to wait.
