Name Change Function

Considering that people are opting to transfer to other servers and then transfer back, costing roughly $36 in total- not entirely sure of the GBP or Euro equivalent; why hasn't this been recognized as something that players want?

We can change our customizable options via the Aesthetician. We can buy fantasia's to change our races and genders. We can't change our names. The fantasia's advertisement image is of a male hyur changing to a female miqoté; wouldn't that be strange? Seeing a miqoté with a definitively male name running around?

I don't mean to whine when I ask; but as this is something I've seen suggested and requested and even demanded on some occasions on this forum - why hasn't this been considered as an option?

Totally open to a discussion here.

I agree that this would be a good idea. Although I don't mind my girly name stuck on my male elezen, I know others who have wanted to change their name and either just lived with it or actually paid to do the transfers.

Coming from someone who has done the above method of server transferring and then back; several times I might add, I would love to finally see this option considered and put into the game.

If I'm not mistaken, a while back the devs actually posted that this would be put into the game and since then we have heard nothing about it. What's up with that?

I would also like to see a name change. I have been wanting to change to either Lalafell or Elezen via Fantasia Potion, my seeing as my character's name includes "Neko" and "Nyan", it makes no sense as any other race than miqo'te!

Yeah this really needs to happen, I really want to change name but I won't do it through the expensive server transfers method...

I fully agree on this, i hope we see this function soon, even if they have to charge for it, like they do on the fantasia, i think this is a must have to be honest.

I want it as well. I might just do the server transfer thing cause I'm impatient. I have my name picked out already, too. But I'd love for it to be added in case I might need it again.
