Question about PSN ID link

A year ago, during Open Beta, I've played a little bit on PS3. Naturally, using my PSN ID. Some time later, I bought the full game on PC, but registered it with a new SE Account. Now, I'm thinking about switching to PS4, but:

a) I absolutely must keep my current character.
b) I need it to be linked with my PSN ID.

As far as I know, PSN ID sticks to specific SE Account and can't be unlinked or switched to another. But, is it still true about accounts linked during OBT?

And, by the way, is there some way to check if my PSN ID is linked or not without actually buying the game?

Once a SE account has been linked with a PSN in account its permanent, regardless of if it was in beta or not. I linked my account during beta also, and that's still the account I use. I'm not sure if you can have multiple SE accounts linked to a single PSN account however.

That's actually not exactly accurate - if you've linked your PSN ID to SE Service account during early stages of beta SE did unlik those prior last (stage 4 / Public) beta. And no - you can't have more than one SE Service account linked to one specific PSN ID.

Arachne - login to Mogstaion to your "old" SE service account (the one you've used with PS3 during the beta) and check if you can see your PSN ID linked there. Other option is - if you still have your PS3 - to start up the game (the client will update first) and see if it "remembers" your PSN ID - if yes it's still linked. However you might be unable to even start the game - in that case the only option would be to purchase cheap PS3 boxed version of the game and try it that way. You can after that upgrade for free to PS4 version.

Yeah, I've played on the last Beta stage, so it actually was linked to my old account.

Nevertheless, I still decided to buy the game, and fortunately my PSN ID was relinked to my current SE Account just a few moments ago (took 10 minutes in Support Chat, though they warned this operation can only be done once per account).
