Footsteps audio delay

Hello, I have this problem where the audio from my footsteps does not work properly, it's weird because everything else works fine. And what's worst is that same days the audio is perfect. Someone please help!! This problem is driving me crazy and I can't find a solution :/

If what you mean by footstep delay is, when you are walking, you hear nothing and all of a sudden it sounds like 20 footsteps play at once, and then nothing again, then 20 footsteps etc, Than it is more than likely a weak CPU. This also happened to me like a year ago when the game first came out and I had a shit PC, But i have since upgraded and it is fine now. Post your PCs specs, and I may be of help, (If you aren't on PS3/PS4 that is obviously).

Now if that isn't how it is happening and just lag from when the footsteps should be playing and when you hear them, I haven't a clue.

It's almost like you said, my pc is not the best but what I don't understand is that if it was my pc the problem would always be there. Here are my pc specs:

Core 2 duo E6600
Geforce GT 240
3GB Ram

I use windows 7, if you need to know something else let me know.

Yeah, I think upgrading the CPU would be of a ton of help, I actually had something similar to that also xD.

I also didn't have the issue happening constantly, Was kind of random. Getting something better would definitely be a good idea, Even if it wouldn't fix the issue, (which is most likely would) Because that CPU is pretty awful, Especially for MMO's which are very CPU intensive.
