With comments like this I seriously wonder how people would even deal with other games of this type, where there is no such thing as auto face. And no, offensive magic still needs to be facing.
That's what I said. Healing spells don't care which way you're facing, and I wistfully expressed a wish for attack(offensive) spells to be the same way, because they're not.
...unless you're calling me stupid for wanting offensive spells to not care about facing, in which case we should call for healing spells to care, because one set of spells shouldn't be excluded from a restriction that technically makes sense even if it's annoying sometimes.

No, I meant in most games that play like this one. You have to face your target on your own, nothing will do it for you, and offensive magic has always had the necessity of facing in those games too.
