foe requiem boost SMN/SCH dmg too.

The tooltip of Foe Requiem states the following:

“Reduces all enemy elemental resistance by 10%. MP is drained while singing. Effect is lost if targets move out of hearing distance, and ends upon reuse. Cannot be used with other songs.”

The DoT skills of the Summoner & Scholar are referred to as “unaspected” skills, which would mean that they are not Elemental attacks. The Egi’s on the other hand do use Elemental based attacks, so if the people who told me that Foe Requiem doesn’t work with Summoners, they’d either forgot about the Egi’s, or they were wrong.

But, after you said that it does work with a Summoner and Scholar, i did a quick search of my own. Then i came across this Reddit article:

For those curious, we just tested, Foe Requiem boosts unaspected summoner spells, not just elemental attacks

If that’s the case, then the Tooltip of Foe Requiem is wrong and needs to be adjusted.

For now, i’ll consider myself as corrected and will try it out myself when i have the time. Thanks! (^_^ )/

It is pretty ridiculous the amount of people that still think Requiem does nothing for Summoner (which it always did), even after Square Enix changed the tooltip from Elemental Resistance to Magic Resistance.

What? When did they do that? Ok, I most definitely stand corrected then. (^_^; )
