Free Trial Problem

So whats the deal? My girlfriend created an account last night like the thing says and she downloads the Free Trail Client. So she downloads it and tries to sign in to the client/launcher and it say's,

"You could not log in because the service account in question is not registered. If you would like to log in to the service, please log in to the Square Enix Management Account System and register the service account."

So she went there and it does NOT show her how. It just say's she need's to buy the game. She has NOT PLAYED IN BETA or ever owned a copy of the game. her account is new, hence, this would be her first mmo, and yes I am tickled pink that my girlfriend will at least try the game. lol.

So how do we get her set up? I see no options and the refer a friend thing gives her a code she can not put in anywhere.

Please SE, I REALLY want her to try and like this game so we can play till death do us part lol.

scratch what i said before, i jsut looked up all the instructions for you

step 1 - download trial

step 2 - create trial account upon launch (so luanch the game an the account screen should show up then, dont try an put in a official full service account)

step 1 - you send her the email code for the recruitment

step 2 - she needs to register a service account an then redeem the code at the mogstation site

step 3 - profit


now here lies the problem. a trial account is not the same thing as a service account, i'm not sure you can use the refer a friend on a trial account. I'll also add, that if she created an actual service account that will prolly not work with the trial. I am also not sure how exactly if the trial account turns into a service account or what or if she would qualify for the refer a friend at that point, someone else who has tried it already may be able to shed some light.

She needs to buy a game key (cheapest way is to buy digital download).
Then in mogstation she must enter the gamekey to get a "normal" account.
Now (again on Mogstation) she will see a new button where she can enter your code.

Edit: where did she create an account? SE sadly have a lot...
If she can login on Mogstation it should work with the client too.
